WE GOT AHOLD OF THE LATEST PRECINCT AND DISTRICT MAPS AND THE LISTS OF THE COMMITTEE PERSONS AND THE VICE COMMITTEE PERSONS. CALLED THEM ALL UP, BUT THEY SEEM TO BE PRETTY SET IN THEIR WAYS. GO FIGURE. WONDER WHO APPOINTED THEM? WE'LL HAVE TO WORK AROUND THIS ISSUE AND STUMP IT TO THE PEOPLE, ON THE GROUND.
HE HAS ALREADY HAD A BUNCH OF PUBLIC MEETINGS BUT I'M NOT THAT SURE HOW MANY VOTES IT'S GOING TO GET HIM. THOSE PEOPLE ARE MOSTLY SLATED TO THOSE SEATS BY THE POWERS THAT BE SO I GUESS IT ONLY MAKES SENSE. THEIR MINDS ARE ALREADY MADE UP. MOVE ON, WORK THROUGH IT. REMINDER: PUT THAT ON HIS LIST.
WHO ARE HIS VOTERS? LET'S SEE. OKAY. WE GOT OUR LIST OF VOTERS IN EACH PRECINCT. HE'S ALREADY TOLD ME WHO'S RELATED TO WHO AND WHO IS WHO AND, WELL, LET'S JUST SAY CHECK MARK.
ALL OF THESE FISHFRYS AT KNIGHTS AND THE MEET THE CANDIDATES AT THE HIGH RISES AND THE DEBATES AND WALKING DOOR TO DOOR IN THE NEIGHBORHOODS; WELL, LET'S JUST SAY IT'S GOING TO BE BUSY. HE'S CALLED EVERYONE AND THEIR BROTHER ABOUT PUTTING SIGNS IN THEIR YARD. I THINK HE'S BUSHED FROM IT.
OKAY. WE GOT THE T-SHIRTS IN TO WEAR AND THE BROCHURES ARE MOVING. WE'VE STARTED OUR GROUND ASSAULT.

There are some who THINK they've helped. And some who've tried to help. Others DO help. I'm constantly amazed by the people who whine and who put people down and who speak of true public servants in the most derisive fashion while letting the crooks use them. They're the problem around here, the reason why we're such as sad city.
Was anybody at the big Democrat candidate meet and greet at K of C? There were some interesting moments.
Several candidates did not show up.
Vicki Denhart is a women with the drive and voice. An educated hard working citizen with a strong conservative values who will represent the best interest of all the citizens of New Albany. Not just District 1. She will fight for the welfare and best interest of our city. She will eliminate unnecessary, wasteful spending an keep New Albany an affordable city for all our citizens especially senior citizens who are struggling in this difficult economic climate.
Like you she's just a regular person who is tired of politics as usual.

Smith, Benedetti, Rosenbarger, Coffey and Timberlake were not there. Word on the Street, Coffey knows he's beat an is not even campaigning.

After trudging through the myriad of comments left on here to try and obtain a better feel for the political atmosphere running up to the primaries for local government positions, I feel it’s safe to say we are all basically screwed. We can choose between washed up, good ol’ boys who have been in way to long, or a slew of newbies that bring with them such baggage that will ensure that nothing will be accomplished if elected, except for a few protective orders filed against each other.
