DO WE EVEN WANT TO KNOW WHAT'S NEXT?

THANK YOU FOR YOUR ARTICLE ABOUT EGYPT AND AL JAZEERA.  WE HAVE BEEN WATCHING THE PAST FEW DAYS AND ARE TAKEN ABACK BY WHAT OUR OWN JOURNALISTS ARE NOW GOING LIVING.

BETWEEN THE REVOLUTION IN EGYPT, FLOODING AND SNOW IN COUNTRIES, THE PRICE OF FOODS HAS NOW REACHED AN ALL TIME HIGH.  THE HIGHEST SINCE THE RECORDS STARTED TO BE KEPT.  SUGAR, GRAIN, WHEAT.  ALL ARE ON THE TOP OF THE CHARTS WITH NO RELIEF IN SIGHT.

AS A REPORT READ, THERE ARE ONLY THREE THINGS PEOPLE CAN DO TO OBTAIN FOOD AND THAT IS EITHER TO REVOLT, MIGRATE OR DIE.  SERIOUS STUFF.  CAN YOU IMAGINE?  NOT I.

COUNTRIES ARE SLASHING IMPORT FEES AND OBTAINING MASSIVE STOCKPILES.  THE INTEREST RATES IN COUNTRIES WILL RISE BECAUSE OF MONIES GOING INTO IMPORTS OF FOOD.  LESS GROWTH.

THE REPORT STATES AUSTRALIA'S WEATHER AND OUR WEATHER HAVE SEVERELY IMPACTED ANY AND ALL CROPS.  GENERAL MILLS (I GUESS THE LARGEST CEREAL MAKER) HAS GREATLY ROSE THEIR PRICE BECAUSE OF THEIR COSTS.

AFTER READING AND STUDYING THIS ISSUE, LOOKING AT GOVERNMENT WASTE LOCALLY AND FEDERALLY MAKES ME FEEL ILL.  I HOPE WE CAN TIGHTEN OUR BELTS BEFORE THINGS ARE TOTALLY OUT OF HAND.  MAYBE, TOGETHER, WE CAN ALL TAKE CARE OF THE ISSUES WHICH REALLY MATTER.

I think everyone is in trouble in Egypt. Today is suppose to be the day of reckoning.

If food is that way what about our housing troubles and our debt troubles and our job troubles? You aren't painting a pretty picture.

Every revolution has a tipping point, when ordinary people find evils no longer sufferable. Thomas Jefferson wrote the rest: "By abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed." We can all agree that it's scary stuff when the tipping point comes.

if egyptian opposition can show their faces, why can't "members" of CFA? a CFA member (if one existed) doesn't have more to fear from england than the egyptians have to fear from mubarak.

6:30 am, you are better to answer that yourself since you dont show your face. Guess you share the same fear.

Can you hear me laughing from here? Ha Ha Ha 6:30. Amazing how someone can take the Egyptian crisis and compare it to England and Citizens for Accountability. Too funny!

As a member of CFA I know who really wants to know is behind this PAC. And, probably want to know for very good reasons. But, to compare Hosni Mubarrak to England is just too hilarious. Excuse me while I collapse.

Why do you know check with the Clerk, as England did and then contact the leader to see if you can join? Or, maybe you don't like the person who was voted to put their name on that piece of paper and take the hit for the rest of us? Who knows, but you have to admit, your comment is hilarious.

Coorection: who really wants to know WHO is behind this PAC.

I think all HEY is getting ready to break loose in Egypt. Estimates at 1 million strong and darkness is falling. The press are still taking a hit.

why can't CFA members show their face but egyptian people in the streets can?

obviously CFA members think they have more to fear.

CFA members show their faces all the time. You may not know who they are.

"CFA members show their faces all the time. You may not know who they are."

that proves my point. "obviously", either mayor england is a violent dictator, or they're a bunch of paranoid delutionals who think someone's out to get them.

either way, they have a lot less b*lls than egyptians do. no one's going to imprison or beat a CFA member for their opinioin.

No comment on that, 8:47.

Yeah, well maybe u weren't around when the CJ got phsyically thrown out of the old Redman's on their butt. Live and learn, live and learn.

I don't think i realized how important CFA is until now. So much carrying on about this PAC. Amazing. Where do i sign up?

"Yeah, well maybe u weren't around when the CJ got phsyically thrown out of the old Redman's on their butt. Live and learn, live and learn."

so you admit you fear england more than egyptians fear mubarak. amazing. i'm absolutely amazed.

There've been other instances where there's been physical menacing going on. If you doubt me, it's only because it hasn't happened to you. But it has happened to me, so I know there are dangers.

No matter. I'll quit getting on here and giving you my opinions. Clearly, you don't want them anyway.

How funny you want to keep comparing England to Egypt, how funny. Then again, how many years has been in around. Let's see. He came in under Bob Real as head of the Sewer Dept. How long ago was that?

type - how many years has he been around?

Are you saying that we have Bob Real to blame that we got Doug England after his stint in a mental facility because of what he wanted to do with airplanes?

Well, that explains a lot.

@ 9:27 I'm sorry you don't feel you can get on here. Not everyone shares the view that your name must be attached. I think we all agree on civility, but that's it. Consider writing again sometime.

i can't believe it. i simply can't believe it. england running for council. geez

Anonymous said...

No offense but was he drunk when he filed?

Anonymous said...

i know england has his enemies on here but i want to ask a serious question.

had doug filed for first district, would anyone on here have voted for coffey over england?

Anonymous said...

Good question. The devil vs the devil. half a dozen of one ten of the other. Very good question.

For good news, Jeff Gahan is announcing for Mayor at 10:30 AM Saturday morn. yeeaa..

Where does that leave Shirley? I don't understand him not running against Coffee either, except he and Coffee are tite (no matter what some say we know) and there may be a question with his residency. Some have the records of who voted where in the City for the last election and we couldn't find him. We would have to pay more money for county records.

The whole thing is too weird. I wouldn't even know what to say to Shirley except it's too "sick". And you also have Zurschmeide who is suppose to be running for at large too.

correction-coffey.

Someone named Brad Bell filed for at large too. I don't know him.
