The other article's title applies here: Who's on first, who's on second, who's on third. Dont you think?
lets say you ran a poll. you found out you couldn't be elected. you put someone else up but find out public don't like them either. you put someone else up, who hasn't announced yet.you have all these irons in the fire, promises out and more money to be made. you also have a monument or two you want or promised to build. How do you keep your irons in the fire and your finger on the pulse until the ious come due? Just asking
Curiouser and curiouser.
There's a plan. There's no way these muddy waters are muddy "just because." I'm sensing buyer's remorse regarding Stumler and about the great exit strategy. I got the phone poll. I'd gotten the one before too, back when he wanted to run against Clere for what he called his "rightful seat" as state rep (from which he'd been waiting for YEARS for Cochran to step down). When he didn't file for that one, I knew he must have had a bad result. When he put up the most bungling offering he had for the state rep position (Gibson), I thought he was eager to have his influence on the seat one way or another. Then came the poll about the mayoral race. In the end, I think he's found out that he can't be elected for any position. Too many people are onto him. And I'm saying what everybody knows and no one will say out loud. There are still several days--it's the chance for other good Democrats to jump on in!
And, I'm sure there is more to come, unfortunately.
Well, now that the Super Bowl is over, I thought I'd get on here and check. Yep. There's a muddy plan, 1:54. What we think we know is just the tip of the iceberg.
What do we know about the At-Large Seat? Zurschmeide is planning on running again (though he originally said he wouldn't). England. Shirley Baird wanted to run at-large. Someone named Brad Bell(?). And, that's not counting any Republicans. Split the vote. Maybe this seat is the most vulnerable. What do you think?Yes, there is a reason for the madness and the mud.
You're right. Zurschmeide is no Republican.
Slip of the tongue, Freudian at that.
Shirley told me that she's still running at large
Yes. I'm a Republican. Zurschmeide is NO Republican. He wouldn't make a good Democrat either.
Just read through these...I'll say it out loud. We wanted Cochran out. He was sitting like a lump in a seat where he was nothing but a yes vote for bad leadership. Our party has gone to h~ll in a handbasket because of leadership like we have in Indianapolis. For shame. For shame. One other thing about Cochran. It's always bothered me that he has that job out there at IUS. He was sitting on the legislature and he was employed @ IUS in order, as they said when he was hired, "to channel money from the State to IUS." Incredible.Add to that the guy's complete lack of college education, yet they pay him like an assistant chancellor. This is our system feeding the fat pig at the troff (or troph, or something. I don't know how to spell it).
at the trough. You got it. You have to go back in history. The history involves Cochran, Shorty and Chas. The deal was made then.Damn the history.
Randy Smith is running for council.
and benedetti is upset over that thing.
Everything is a big mess around New Albany. I keep seeing those large Etheridge signs up in more and more places. England running for council. More people signing on to run at-large. What's going to happen next? 11 days to file...11 days of watching the show!Yawn.
did anybody else hear diane is talking to the republicans to run with them?
Diane is no Republican. Surely Matthews isn't daft enough to keep on trying to woo Democrats. He's already found they're not loyal to Republicans.
can matthews get any republicans who arent democrats?
Patty Walker can beat Diane and she doesn't even drive a car.
At least Sipes was smart enough to not run. But, Cochran's ego got the best of him. As they say the democrats put you in and the democrats take you out.I'm still waiting for Roger to announce. One good thing is, we got the best State Rep. we could ever had gotten.Clere's the man!
So it is drunk driver vs. creepy bookstore guy vs. sweet Patty. This town is a mess.
creepey? what's creepey? ugly maybe, but wicked smart.
LOL...Yes, the Democrats put you in, and the Democrats take you out! That is SO true! So, how is it that Matthews is just NOW finding out that Democrats don't make loyal Republicans? LOLOLAs for Sipes, she's a lot smarter than Cochran. I'm still scratching my head over how we kept voting that guy back in office year after year. And I NEVER voted for him. Not when he ran in 1974, and not ever. I knew he wasn't right for the job.I agree about Clere. He's more than just smart. He's completely into the job. Works harder than anybody I've ever seen at doing what he thinks is right. And I find that I agree with him most of the time. I was suprised about that. I mean, he's a REPUBLICAN!He's one of the "good" Republicans, I guess. Wonder if Matthews recruited him???
have price or coffey filed?
Don't think so.
Patty. Who people "lovingly" refer to as mrs.Goldberg #2. She has no money,no car, dummer than owl **** and runs every year for every position. Who will finance her this year? Maury? Doug?
Just read Baylor's screed for the day against Ed Clere. This guy is REALLY obsessed. So is his sidekick, Gillenwater, who tries as hard as he can to use a large vocabulary while giving his circular arguments against his favorite bane, Ed Clere. In this latest diatribe, Baylor alludes to "what happened yesterday." Well, I was there. Let me tell you what happened yesterday. It was hard to push your way through a crowd at the statehouse yesterday afternoon, there were so many teachers. There was barely room to breathe. Meanwhile, your state representative and mine was in the House Chamber DOING HIS JOB and voting on this bill and that. He was busy. The place was PACKED! Teachers were literally SCREAMING and banging on the windows in the back of the room. I was embarrassed by the display.Anyway, some local teachers sent in notes to have Clere step out. I'd say at least half a dozen notes went in there. He did not come out. He couldn't. To have come out in that melee would have been to lose his chance to vote on important amendments, most notably, the one on the charter schools. Were they baiting him so he couldn't vote? I couldn't say. But they were damned rude. Why couldn't they make an appointment like other statehouse visitors do? And why did they insist on his seeing them while he was VOTING?To top that off, someone sent me a copy of a Tweet from Randy Smith. It went like this: "Bonnie Thrasher reports from Indy: Ed Clere refuses to come out and talk to his constituents who are teachers who have waited hours for him."So, were the teachers, those altruistic kid-loving professionals we always hear about acting in good faith in their attempt to connect with Mr. Clere?Don't tell me they were. Having been there, I can tell you that what they said and did was so rude that it's not allowed on this blog. So, I'll answer this myself. NO.
not suprised. Teachers are the noisiest and most whinny group.
But when CFA protest that's just good democracy in action!
Teachers do have one of the hardest jobs there are. But, I resent how sometimes they "can" be political and sometimes they "can't". Where is the line they can or can't cross? When we led the legislation locally to have the school board elected the teachers were adamant in not wanting this. They even wore stickers inside the voting area where they worked. Made a big deal out of letting voters see the stickers. When we went up against the $60 million dollar school bond, who supported it the most? Teachers. One teacher's husband led the petition drive. And, then they want to come out swinging on why certain schools were shut. Why didn't they let Clere know they were coming to Indy? Wasn't that possible? Now, not all teachers are responsible but there are some that are just out there and where I don't know.
Just for the record, and as I await the day that real live adults can have these discussions at the original point of posting, here's the "screed" in question, in which I use the word "screed" first, LOL:In his screed, Rep. Clere suggested that an appointed parks board would be more effective precisely because it would be removed from politics. And yet we changed the school board from appointed to elected for what reason? By Clere's logic, that makes the school system more political, not less. But the GOP keeps saying that politics shouldn't be in the schools. I'm very confused. Given what happened yesterday, perhaps that's the whole point. My reference to "what happened yesterday" had nothing to do with the rumored failure of Rep. Clere to visit with constituents, although to be sure, he has indicated on many previous occasions that he isn't interested in listening to opposing points of view.Rather, it had to do with the overall outcome of the vote.
The Parks Department has always been a political football. Why is the Camille Wright Pool closed? Where are good parks in the City? The one we do have the Mayor wants to take over and create a Water Park in the location. There is no rhyme or reason when it comes to the parks. I'm all for Clere creating this district and get all of the politicos out.Maybe someone will plant some trees so at least the playground is shaded and our little ones don't have to slide down slides that burn their torsos. The monies are always being diverted. Our ex-parks director had thousands of dollars worth of simply cell phone bills. Ridiculous.
Confused Baylor said "And yet we changed the school board from appointed to elected for what reason? Having an appointed board is more political being that those appointments were made my politicians. With an elected board, the people get to decide not some elected official who chooses to appoint someone in return for political favors. Same reasoning would apply to a Park District.
Yep, so why would the new park district have appointed board members?
I was there too, participating. It would have made no difference to talk to him. His kids go to private schools his wife teaches at one so you know the way the vote goes. What surprises me is that for a guy who works so hard he knows so little. He was on the education committee, but it was february of last year before he had ever seen an istep test and also did not know that non english speaking students had to take the test after being here one year. He was not embarassed by that fact . He openly admitted he had not done much homework on the state testing system.
Those darn teachers should have been in the classroom teaching instead of our tax dollars having to pay their salaries as they protested and having to pay for the subs that had to fill in for them.
No one is allowed to touch the glass outside either the House or the Senate chambers, nor even lean on the wall by the glass. There was plenty of security in plain clothes as well as uniform. Consequently, no one was banging on any windows. Furthermore, my absence (substitute)from my classroom was funded by our local Education Association ( Union ), and did not cost taxpayers/school system a dime. Yes, Mr. Clere did know we were coming. We indeed did attempt to schedule appointments to no avail with him. He found plenty of time to leave his station several times for up to half hour at a time over the many hours we were stood outside the glass watching his actions. For those who haven't lobbied, voting is a button push, not a huge time consuming measure. And to their credit, both Rhonda Rhoads and Grooms spoke with their constituents..Please feel free to express opinions about my actions, but don't blatantly lie.
As for sending kids to private school, well, since we live in a country where we have the RIGHT to choose where our kids go to school, that should be applauded. This isn't really any different than moving to the "right" neighborhood so your kid can go to FK Elementary or FCHS. We live in a free country.
Actually, I wish I could afford to send my daughters to private school. The public schools have realy let us down. For one thing, there's this teacher attitude. I'm factory, my dad was factory, I've never been anything but union. But the teachers union has something wrong with it. I'm still mad they woudn't do conferences and they woudn't chaperone and so on. Big babies teachers are. If I could, I would defintly send my girls to private school. One of my daughters had a teacher last year that was real good. Guess where she sent her kids? To private school.
Baylor, why don't you give it up and knock off these attacks and lies against Ed Clere! You have had a hard on for Ed Clere for months now, you continue to attack anyone your group of wannabe's disagree with.First it was Gardenour and Wiseheart you lied an attacked when it was the teachers union who wanted smaller classes, the best insurance and a raise. You and others did not seek the truth. Those greedy teachers wanted it all because they felt entitled to the best, even after they were told they would have to make cuts and close schools. They basically stuck up their noises and felt they were entitled to it all anyway.Look around Mr. Baylor, cities and states are going bankrupt because of the unions and pension plans and healthcare and greedy local government like our who don't give a shit about only what it is in it for them. Now lets look at you... You got what you got because your old lady wanted out of a marriage and Richo bought you out. You never traveled abroad until you got your hooks in your first wife. You and your businees has gotten every break you could get your greedy little hands on.Your mother continues to bail you ought. Your poor wife told us your house is colateral for that brewhouse and you had forced her to go to work full time in Louisville. You sit on your fat ass all day blogging, drinking beer while your wife barely keeps the business open and recents it. But, hey were a bunch of little people who don't know shit. Right? I can assure you we know more about you than you could ever know about us. F-Y..Roger Baylor and the loser we all know you are.Your days are numbered in business and we plan to see you fail. Please remember for a business person you are not smart at all.You open your mouth and lose another customer.Call your poor mommy and ask her for another $25,000.00. Your dad has to be rolling over in his grave about now.Btw, keep bad mouthing Clere and see where it gets you.Signed,Democrat and an Ed Clere supporter
I happen to be a teacher and I spoke with Mr. Clere today on the phone while he was in Indianapolis. I had no trouble reaching him, and he assured me that NO teacher had requested an appointment with him prior to the rally. I called him to ask this specifically because I had concerns after reading your posts about him not being able to see me when I come up. I asked him specifically about yesterday. He said that no teacher had called him to make a prior appointment. So, someone IS lying, and I can assure you that it's not Mr. Clere. But then, this is what I've come to expect from a group of people who make the rest of us teachers look bad by trying to create a situation that simply does not exist. Ed Clere is working hard for the children of Indiana. You hate it. You assume that because he's a Republican, he MUST be against you. That's actually not true, yet you make up stuff to make him sound like some sort of lazy, hateful monster. Also, I've been up there before. Yes, you push a button to vote on a bill, but there is all kinds of discussion in between and sometimes the bills come quickly. As far as I can tell, Ed Clere has never shirked his duty to be there in time to vote. He has been unafraid to make a controversial stand when it seems right. This is why, even though I'm a Democrat, AND in the Education Association, AND a public school teacher, I'll stick to my instincts and stand by Mr. Clere.Thank you.
Wow, Teacher 9:28, if I ever have kids, I hope they land in your class! Well said.
A concensus of the new good people we elect soon.
9:05, I'll drink to that one.
I will too, 9:05. That guy is a pain in the arse! Baylor, not Clere.
I agree with you, too, 9:28. Well said!
Wow. I'm not on here for 48 hours and the place goes crazy! I'll agree that teachers are the most hard-working, under appreciated group of working men and women in America.I also think the teachers union is the loudest, most bombastic, most expansive and big-spending union in America. And they somehow get teachers to behave strangely. Also, since I know Ed Clere well and have worked with him on a number of issues, some on which we disagree, I know for a FACT that Ed is a gracious host whenever someone goes to Indianapolis to see him and that he would never, ever snub anyone, especially not teachers.9:28, you were smart to contact him. The accusations against him are pure and simple fabrication. People out to get him bait him by asking for time. When he gives it to them, they twist his words as Ms. Gahan did above. When they don't they shout out far and wide huge lies like Ms. Thrasher did. And when they get caught red handed, they pose for cameras flipping the bird with two hands near the groin like Mr. Kessans, their leader, did. Yes. The union makes all the regular teachers look like thugs and ignorant boobs who don't know they don't have to join the union for benefits like the malpractice coverage the union (and ONLY the union, right?) will give them.ISTA, NEA, local teachers union....They ALL need to get with the program...or GO!
P.S. And, 9:05, I couldn't have said it better myself! That weasel's public hard on has kept all kinds of people away from his business. Same with the bookseller. Too bad they don't understand how to run a business.
Frankly, Ms. Thrasher, you all wasted your time up there with all that screaming because you teachers got Mitchslapped when the amendment passed. About time, too.
The hooded “Had Enough”We can easily seeIs right about the hardon'Cept it’s his boner for me
does anyone have anything to add except insults?
and baylor has his butt cheeks spread to take that hardon.
Yes, I do. Maybe the citizens of New Albany and School Board should investigate how the union rep. spends his time on the payroll. He doesn't give a damn about the students or the teachers. I send my son to a private school because those teachers are flat lazy.
Baylors jealous of Clere because he couldn't even get elected dog catcher.Just wait Smith we got a big surprise for you come primary election day.One question for Smith while I'm at it. How come your wife didn't want you to run for city clerk but thinks it's ok to run for council?Boy, are you in for a rude awaking.
Ed Clere for Mayor.
Becky Gardenour is the best one on the NAFC-School Board.
I heard she's been ask to run for Mayor.
Any others candidates sign up in the clerks office today? Has anyone heard?
Gardenour for Mayor? Absolutely unelectable.
and baylor has his butt cheeks spread to take that hardon.Bike shorts and Astroglide do it to King Larry every single time.
next time VD shows up in the newspaper saying she's head of a big group called CFA, there's a big fat faux link that's going to get plastered in the comment sections.
baylor is simply gross with his hardon infatuations...cojoke smith...you may think you have a friend with baylor, but baylor will get you defeated just like he has with all the others he has supported.
This town is full of weirdos.
This talk of, well, rudeness is over the top. Baylor is jealous of Clere, acts silly about Clere, and is obsessed with Clere, and, to use a word suggested by the previous post, more than a little WEIRD about Clere. But to call it a h---on. That's disgusting. And Baylor, you and your smarmy talk are just....SILLY. Give it up.
anyone have anything to add except name calling?
We went from talking about Council at Large to Baylor. I know I don't agree with him on almost any issue he writes about, but it's a waste of time and space AND you're making him feel more important than he already thinks he is.Next.
I'm fairly new to this town and this blog, so can someone tell me just what it is Democrats are supposed to stand for around here? I lean that way, but who or what is a real Democrat? Thank you.
In this town some who are Republicans dress and run for office as Democrats (I can name them). And, you have Democrats working under the guise of Republicans hoping the Pubs will one day sweep. We'll try to keep you updated as the election moves further along and we find out who's running. VERY GOOD QUESTION.
And, the Democrat party is tore in two; split right down the middle. Reminds me of good vs evil. Most feel they don't need a platform and that can drive you crazy, if you let it!
Won't it be so interesting when our local Islamic Community decides to open a Charter School which utilizes public tax dollars furthering the religion of Islam? Absolutely legal and encouraged under the legislation you are so voraciously supporting. Peace be with you all today. BTW, why would any educator, public or private, hide behind an anonymous label? Just saying...
we have christian schools. i have no problem with an islamic school.
I completely agree. If religious organizations are to receive public tax dollars, I anxiously embrace Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Unitarian etc.,in addition to Christian Schools getting their fair share of those public dollars to further their goals. I just want everyone to realize that this legislation funnels public tax dollars to private (Voucher)/special interest (Charter) schools where only a percentage of the teachers have to hold teaching licenses. Peace be with you all today.
After reading how charter schools have failed miserably all across the United States I have to wonder why our state supports same especially using my tax dollars.
charter schools are just a back door way to get taxpayers to pay for religious schools
RUN ROGER RUN!
Why are average Americans talking a lot more about what's going on now in Egypt than they were talking about what was going on in last year in Iran?
Your argument about religious organizations receiving public tax dollars is weak indeed. Already, religious schools receive public tax dollars for school lunches and other programs, just as do public schools. Your problem is that you have an "us vs. them" mentality. You think it has to be either/or.Think about it this way: If all the area's private and charter schools all closed down tomorrow, and all those kids flooded into the public school system, the NAFC schools would be hard pressed to host them all.Anyway, this is America. Here, we have CHOICES. We can choose to be Muslim, Jewish, Christian, atheist or agnostic. We can choose to send our child to Christian Academy, Floyd Central HS, Providence HS, or New Albany HS. What in the hell is it to you if someone chooses to send their son or daughter to Christian Academy? It's really no skin off your teeth, and you really need to get a grip and stop bitching about it.Ms. Thrasher, you don't "anxiously embrace" all those different religious schools. You want NO private school. And, your speaking of "licensed" teachers is ridiculous. Why is it that teachers who go to "teacher school" and get a degree in Education think they're so much better than teachers who come from the private sector? Teachers who've lived and practiced what they later teach? It's because the system has taught you to dutifully think your way of getting there is better. But, they took advantage of you when you took those low-level classes called things like "Math for Elementary Teachers" and "History for Teachers." You paid the university more money, the powers that be decreed that your licensing process would go down a certain road, and you let the union talk you into paying their dues so you could then let them pay for your trips to Indianapolis and endorse certain candidates while not looking at the issues and playing "fair."This is all a case of "you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours" and you don't even realize how they're using you.
This all reminds me of a saying that goes something like this: Those who can do, and those who can't TEACH.This is precisely why I did NOT become a teacher. I DO.
Wow. Once again, this blog has gone crazy.I would think, reading LBP Public School Teacher's comment, that it would be pretty hard to be working within a system that tells you you're not right if you're an expert in a field and teach because you know it well, but did not go through methods courses and those low-level courses LBP mentioned, as the other teachers did. I have a friend who teaches in the public school system in NAFC. He's in that situation. Teachers look DOWN on him because of his (fairly impressive) degrees. Very strange.
@ 9:03 I've heard that saying. Sometimes it's true, but there are some GREAT teachers! With or without "teaching degrees." I remember some that were terrific! I remember some that sucked big time. I remember an amazing number of these that were marginal. Funny thing, those marginal teachers have a nickname in union negotiations: Marge. They're always fighting to "protect Marge." Betcha didn't know that.
"...those who can't TEACH."My teachers could teach. If you can read this sentence, your teachers could teach too.
...those who can't teach, teach gym.
Crucify me, the peace loving, tree hugging, dog loving, real name using, union meeting attending, public school teaching, 36 hours above a masters degree earning, local downtown business owning, tax paying citizen all you want. When advised not to exercise my freedom to speak freely, using my name as my virtue that I am absolutely telling the TRUTH, scoffed because my skin was thick enough to keep telling the truth to those who fall under the straight party-line vote no matter what, I had enough faith that only BONNIE THRASHER would be slandered and ridiculed. Ask any of the over 1000 local students and their parents that I have educated over the past 25 years about my expertise in my profession, my integrity, my love and compassion for all learners...even when one boy had a 1.5 inch cockroach lodged in his ear, another girl had head lice so severely she would run any time the school nurse came into view, the 14 year old who couldn't read a word when he arrived from another state to my sixth grade class and made 4 years gain that year under my care, the gifted students that I diligently prepare more challenges for every day, the average students who receive special attention from me every day so they don't disappear from really seeking minimal attention at all, the extra love I've shown students who have returned from local charter schools who find they are far behind, as the rigorous expectations of the traditional classroom are so much more real world, and therefore more difficult...all those groups will testify for me...I don't need your approval. I can pass any rubric any legislator throws my way, so I am not afraid of Tony or Mitch. My reputation is enough for me. Stone BONNIE all you want. Yet when my family is slandered, as has just happened in the previous post, I throw in the towel. Pat yourself on the back. You win. I'm gone...back to the trenches with ALL of America's children...me and Jesus (oh no you don't...we have a moment of silence every day and he is invited in if anyone chooses, with Mrs. Thrasher modeling that by bowing her head and folding her hands... so don't even go there)... as I was saying Jesus and myself leaving the blog world, back to the trenches enriching and loving the poor, rich, dirty, sick, dangerous, abused, gifted, medically fragile, mentally challenged, typical, gay, straight, red, yellow, black and white, and every religion in between... to love them all, and teach them all, no matter if their parents can pay or not, no matter if they have transportation or not. Jesus and public school teachers...we turn no one away. What other profession can make those claims? Goodbye. Peace be with you all today.
"real name using"And now you will be attacked by the same two or three dysfunctional cowards who huddle here, and who revel in their cowardice the way that pigs roll in mud. No names, no credibility. Keep fighting the good fight, Bonnie.
Wow...Hope that crazy one isn't still teaching in our public school system.Perfect example of a nutcase teacher.
Sounds like someone has been spending too much of their tax funded teacher pension for drinks at the brewhouse.

Well, Baylor, there's plenty of credibility in the above comment. No name, but plenty of credibility.SNAP!
Ouch, Bonnie, I'd be careful about invoking the name of Jesus.
My, this all took a long time to read. Here's an article that appeared just today that might interest you.http://www.foxnews.com/us/2011/02/08/educating-children-catholic-schools-doing/
Here's a great site exposing teachers unions.http://teachersunionexposed.com/
Bonnie must have been one of Roger's so called teachers in his first life. When he conquered Europe.LMAO
Will the real Douglas B. England please stand up.I hear his alter ego is running. Let the game (scam) begin...
They will do anything to save Gibson's job.Vote Jeff Gahan and send the good ole over paid boys packing.
yeah, well, roger says he's "european." but he ain't. he's from here, i'm sorry to say, else i'd ask him to go back "there."
yell, well, gibson's a joke. malysz is a hack. they're all pretty pitiful, and hence, the state of our city..
and shirley, she's over there on her blog making unsubstantiated claims of politics, age discrimination, and harassment to try to keep her ole pal Nash as king of solid waste, thinking that will help her get elected.
Looks like they are all playing a game of duck, duck, goose.
I just checked out this site about exposing the teachers union--oh boy! You oughta see what's on there. That thing about Marge is true. I know for a fact that they fight like the devil to keep teachers even when they're really crappy. My friend's daughter goes to Hazelwood. One of her teachers, a male teacher, rubs himself in front of the class and while he sits behind his desk. The mother complained and do you think anything got done? Well, the guy's still there. Standing around and masturbating in class is pretty base. I don't know much about city government people here locally. Why are we talking about Malysz? Isn't he the deputy mayor? Why isn't England running again? I don't know much about him, but haven't really had any problems with him. Is he as bad as the Hazelwood teacher?
ROFLMAO! I HAVE heard stories about Playboy magazines and masturbation in the big 3rd floor office. ROFLMAO!
1:32 maybe the male teacher of your friends daughter suffers from red scrotum syndrome. Have your friend suggest to him trying tea tree oil concentrate. It worked for my daughters teacher at scribner.
anonymous thinks's it's cute to publish people's past mistakes. no wonder you're anonymous. obviously you have more to hide.
your statement must hold true for yourself then Anonymous 3:00 PMLMAO
Guilty, and as noted in the post, paid as soon as I realized the tax was not received. My address on the records listed the wrong city and zip, so I didn't receive notification the State Tax had not been paid until I found my name in the public records, as you did. No secret. Anyone who knows me knows that happened so unfortunately for you no one of any consequence will find that post to be startling. Peace be with you and yours today.
Ah, poor Bonnie Thrasher even with her 36 hours above a masters degree, she still couldn’t do basic math and calculate her taxes correctly. Just can’t understand why all these people are saying our education system needs reformed
who is the front runner for the democratic candidate for Council at Large? Shirley Baird, Brad Bell, or Doug England?
None of the above.
I think if the council at large race stays as it is they will all win.
Don't worry that will never happen. Do you honestly think we the citizens of New Albany will allow them to get a free ride to the general election? Not in this lifetime.
