HAPPY 4TH OF JULY (AND KITCHEN TABLE CRUMBS)...

INDEPENDENCE DAY!!!!

Happy 4th everyone! Here's to hoping everyone gets lots of hotdogs, beer and fireworks. You may need to throw a baseball game in too as baseball seems like a great thing to do for the 4th.

We've had some crumbs laying around on our kitchen table. I thought we'd touch briefly on those crumbs...

First off, the Tribune reported Messer ran a plate number for an abandoned car at his wife's business. Nope, not his wife's business. Zurschmeide's Asian Spa was the location; Messer's wife works for Zurschmeide and Zurschmeide asked her to call Jack and have the plate ran. The person called the Chief of Police and reported this. This is probably why some feel England has Messer and Zurschmeide right where he wants them.

Another crumb laying around is the annexation issue. How can property on Charlestown Road go into the 1st District (Coffey's)? Is this annexation coming in through Eagle Lane? If so, boy, a major sewer contract with Ruckman is/will be affected. Is this why Fifer said we would take a hit on the sewers if the annexation went through?

Eagle Lane? Is that why the Tribune article did not elaborate on the annexation?

Could the Messer situation also be that Officer Messer is the central beat patrol officer and that the business is in the center beat? Nah, couldnt be that easy could it? It has be a link to criminal activities.(very much sarcasm) What bearing does this have on anything other than the fact that stuff like this is ruining a good mans life, and the life of his family.

Who said anything about criminal activites concerning Messer?

It is against police procedure to run a license plate as a favor to the public, much less a Council member where Messer's wife works.

It could cost us a lawsuit. The car hadn't been abandoned, merely sold. A citizen was unfairly treated and thus the rub.

And is there proof that the caller actually knew the car was not abandoned? did the call come through the napd front desk, or central dispatch? And as far as police procedure, of there was a complaint from a member of the public, then the officer has a duty to repsond. By running a check on the VIN# or plates on the car it in no violated the owners civil rights, or constituted a breach of policy did it? An officer can run checks on plates and VINS on pretty much any car in public. In regards to who works where, and who owns the property, again, it is my understanding that Messer is the central beat officers for the day shift, regardless of who works there or who owns the building he has a responsibility to respond, if he didnt respond then that would be against public safety policy. So could you please clarify if the calls were made directly to messers cellphone (if that is the stance of this report, how is that proven), or did the call go through central dispatch or the PD front desk. These are kind of important details, unless the bottom line is to try and kick a man while he is down and to join in with the pack of rabid dogs circling him and his family.

Why don't you ask Mayor England, then pull Messer's file and see he got a one day suspension for the tag issue and while you're at it ask him (England) if he's black-mailing Diane for her votes, that's what her father said.

Independence day can only be celebrated if you are a card carrying member of CFA. All others must accept their plebian fate and understand that they are merely pawns to the great and wonderous United Autocracy of CFA

Whatever you think lol. That's a very funny concept. I'm thankful we have the right to have CFA, regardless of who thinks what of such.

Happy 4th, and to those New Albanians celebrating Independence Day in Washington, DC, HAVE FUN. I think I'd rather be there celebrating.

This Fourth of July is special, because this year we are not only honoring a day and a memory, but like CFA we are all fighting for our country and city.

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, governments are instituted amoung men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, that whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing it's powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect our Safety and Happiness."

It is our duty as American "Patriots" to stand up for our city, town and country and no matter what this administration throws at us, remember:

Our city, (county) and country was built on a foundation of principles and beliefs. Principles and beliefs that no matter who is in office, no matter who is running our city, county, and country, they can never take away our hearts and will to fight back.

Our strongest defense is showing England and the Obama administration that even though they may think they are winning, it is only a temporary victory.

For in the end, New Albanians and the USA has always, is always and always will be a city and a country that was founded by men and women who sought freedom, and gave their lives to protect the future of this city, county and country.

One last thought; Go out and show the people who think America needs to apologize what it's like to be a REAL American.

Be proud of CFA, get involved and fight for New Albany, be proud of your foundation and history.

But most of all be proud to be an American!

And please, do tell how does one join CFA? No contact information. No members who will publicly say they are a member to talk too about it. I tried, I practically begged, and all I got was ridicule and insults. Is that what being a REAL American is all about? To instantly judge a person because they agreed with some comments that ran counter to what CFA members say? Is being a REAL American consist of hiding behind a veil of anonymous postings? Is being a REAL American consist of condoning racially discriminatory posts under a pseudonym? I have two people in our neighborhood who have CFA's NO signs in their yard, both are very stand offish to everyone else in the neighborhood, both always have their noses stuck in everyone else’s business. But I am sure there will be no real response to this, or how to contact CFA. More than likely it will be deleted.

I see. When I first started asking, I was asking honestly who they were and what they stood for as I had seen the "president" in the paper and heard her at meetings. But as soon as I asked responses like yours is what I received right off the bat. Since that time I have maintained my opinions and have generally been open to the ideas of others. But, again, each and every time I would speak or post of my ideas, people like you will just toss around insults, or childish remarks such as the one you just made, basically saying, this is our clubhouse, go build your own, nanny-nanny-boo-boo.
And Yes, my real name is Ernest, and yes, I am a middle aged, middle class person, and I have problems making ends meet at times, and I have problems with the inefficiency of our local government as well as how loose the hinges are on the money vaults down there. But please, by all means, continue to feel the need to ridicule and insult the little guys in this town in your quest for personal glory.

If anyone is ridicule and insulted it has been our local citizens group CFA.

I've read your post on other blogs.

1. Vicki Denhart IS the voted President of CFA.

2. We are a PAC and everyone knows who she is and where she lives.

3. We are not required to have a web page or anything else.

4. If you heard her speak along with other members and if you read several letters to our Tribune, you would know we are a serious organization.

5. I suggest Ernest the next time she speaks at a council meeting (and she will) and they will, I suggest you approach her and speak with her and don't think she will blow you off because she/and all members are fighting for everyone who doesn't have a voice.

I'm a proud member of CFA and my family doesn't want to be harrassed and threaten like she is.

But guess what Ernest, she's still standing and has a whole group of members who believe in smaller government, less spending and being accountable to us ratepayers and taxpayers.

We are democrats, republicans and independence who have had enough if the wasteful spending in New Albany.

While I'm at it, there are several neighborhood associations and you can start your own group like she did and we have.

Isn't that what grass roots mean? Starting from scratch like other groups.

And Ernest, if you happen to know Roger Baylor, he knows where she lives, she has him on tape riding his bike by her home quite often.

I am affiliated with Citizens For Accountability and I don't even know who all belongs to same. I know there are Democrats, Republicans and Independents, all New Albanians.

It seems to me Ernest you may simply have a problem this PAC even exists. It does exist, properly formed and dues paid for being a PAC. Maybe, since you don't like this PAC, you can start your own.

I can just feel the love flowing. I wouldnt know Mr. Baylor if he ran me over with his bike. There is only one person who gets slapped around by suppossed members of CFA, and that person is a good person, but they, like me are only considered an idiot because they may have talked to certain people are disagreed with something Denhart may have said.
I do not have a problem with any PAC, I have a problem with people using a PAC as a foundation to attack other citizens, spread lies about people and purposely try and destroy other citizens reputations. Standing up against government is one thing, but creating deeper divisions with in the community is another. As far as speaking to Denhart, I tried once. Just after I got finished talking to the previously mentioned person I kind of know. All she did was glare at me, turned her back on me and walked away to talk to other people.
