Just found out from a buddy of mine that the mayor just sent a letter out telling city employees that they are not getting their overtime pay after aug 4th even if they have already worked it. And today is aug.21 wow what a crook. I can't even imagine at my job if i had worked 2 weeks and my boss came out and said " we are not paying you for this 2 weeks " I see lawsuits in the near future for the city if this is true.

I live on Oak St. and nobody is talking about how bad things have gotten under this administration. Our neighborhood has always had its troubles but now our street services have suffered and I don't know where to start with crime. The police chief and her assistant are absolutely useless. Things for us were getting better before the change but are far worse now and they don't care. Thugs run the alleys and streets unchecked and there seems to be no plan to improve this. I have a friend on the napd and she says moral with the cops is terrible. If they are so screwed up there I don't know how they can fix my neighborhood. Knight and Pannell need to go.

A year after the robbery the floyd co. police received an anonymous tip that the man's name was curtis brown. he then eluded floyd co. police for 8 years. Do the math. That is 9 years. Then early last year they found brown in the green river correctional complex in central KY. He is serving a 10 yr sentence for drug trafficking in jefferson co. Ky. You can't blame the judges for this one. Do your homework before you blame someone.

I saw in the paper that mickey thompson is leading a new city hired crew to clean up the roads of grass and trash i guess. i thought we had people employed by the city to do that. Why is the council dishing out 70K + to pay for this clean up ? Green Valley rd., Old Vincennes, and state street. Why would it get so ugly that people would complain about it? Who is not doing their job. Is 70K going to have to be dished out every time these roads need sprucing up. Wow what a waste. And how much more money are they going to waste on spring street hill.
