2012 POLITICAL CANDIDATES

For the most part, I believe most politicians are like dirty diapers.  They both need to be changed, often.

Without further ado, the following lists candidates running on the Democrat and Republican tickets.  We were unable to obtain the Independents list due to time constraints.

(Blogger's note:  You have a right to your own opinion, but not a right to mine.  Everyone will have their own opinion and if you wish to disagree with someone may we suggest you try and make your argument in a constructive manner rather than being rude and crude and making personal derogatory remarks.  Thank you.)

INDEPENDENTS

I am aware of only one Independent.  His name is Rupert Boneham.  He became well known for winning Survivor in 2011.  I will be voting him to be Governor.

PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES

Barack Obama - Yes

Mitt Romney - Boo, Hissss!

UNITED STATES SENATOR

Joe Donnelly - No

Richard G. Lugar - Yes (He has served Indiana well and I'm willing to let him retire after this next term, as a show of respect.)

GOVERNOR

John R. Gregg - I could handle him.  My hopes would be he could rescind some of the outsourcing Daniels implemented.  We need the JOBS.  Another hope would be he would look at some of these contracts implemented, for a loophole, i.e., Indiana Toll Road.

Mike Pence - Too shy of any Republican becoming Governor.

UNITED STATES REPRESENTATIVE IN CONGRESS
9TH DISTRICT

(R) Todd Young - Vote him out!

(D) Jonathan George - Vote For George!

(D) John Griffin Miller - Yeah, right......

(D) John W. Tilford - Don't know anything about him.

(D) Robert Winningham - Has a lot of signs up.

(D) Shelli Yoder - I've seen her signs, also.
(Way to split the vote, Dems.....)

STATE REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT 70 (Precincts Franklin 1, Georgetown 6, Greenville 1,2,3,4,5,6)

(R) Rhonda J. Rhoads - I possess no knowledge about this individual nor the other two.

(D) Alva J "Jim" Kincaid

(D) Terry L. Miller

STATE REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT 72 (Precincts New Albany, Georgetown 1,2,3,4,5,7 Lafayette 1,2,3,4,5,6,7)

(R) Edward Clere - Ed, it's taking a lot for me to vote for you again.  I hope you can, and will, take a step back from the Party line in your political actions/decisions.  The Right To Work Bill was/is just plain wrong (for various reasons, in my book).  There seem to be several states passing these absurd laws and then that state is sued because it's just plain wrong.  Where are the money savings in doing something like that?  And, for who?  The Right To Work Bill simply lowers wages at a time when wages need to be rising simply to meet the costs of living.  And, how can you expect a Union to represent a non-paying member?  Too far left field.  You've disappointed me in not making a stand on tolls.  Even if we have to be tolled, why not put a time limit a little bit more realistic than the one in place now?  Hey, I tried.

(D) Sharon Grabowski - Groomed "to be" by what some would call the good ole boy network.

(D) Thomas L. Lenfert - I don't think so, Tom.  Sorry.

COUNTY RECORDER

(R) Louis Naville Endris - Go Louis!

(D) Maury Goldberg - An emphatic No.  Sorry.

COUNTY TREASURER

(R) Linda Berger - It's unanimous - she wins!

COUNTY CORONER

(R) Thomas Sonne - Have no knowledge.

(D) Todd Caufield - Name sounds familiar.

(D)  Leslie Knable - Haven't heard any bad press.

COUNTY SURVEYOR

(R)  William B. Gibson - No opponent.

COUNTY COMMISSIONER DISTRICT 2
(Represent all of Lafayette and Greenville, people vote countywide)

(R)  Bill Fender - NO

(R)  John Kettler - NO

(R)  Dave Matthews - I don't think so.

(D)  Charles "Chuck" Freiberger - Go Chuck!

COUNTY COMMISSIONER DISTRICT 3
(Represent all of Georgetown and Franklin, people vote countywide)

(R) Steve Bush - Steve, you are a good police officer and decent Commissioner - but..., if my understanding is correct you plan to run for Sheriff next year.  I do not wish for the Republican Party to appoint someone in your stead.  If that's not correct, I still do not wish to vote for you because I do not believe a police officer should hold office.  Sorry.

(D)  Dennis Roudenbush - GO Dennis!

COUNTY COUNCIL-AT-LARGE

(R)  Steve Burks - No

(R)  Billy W. Stewart - No

(R)  Jim Wathen - No

(R)  Cam Wright - No

(D)  Larry Clemons - YES

(D)  Ted Heavrin - NO - I haven't liked your attitude the past couple of years, Ted.  When they interviewed you in the Tribune about the new law going into effect where you would not be able to serve in office because you are a police officer I felt you came across as feeling you were "owed".  "You would retire in order to remain in office."  You were heavy handed with Warren Nash in what some have described as an abuse of your power as a police officer and that the actions taken by you were unnecessary  and arbitrary in nature.  Your attitude on the Parks isn't right, either.  Sorry.

(D)  Carol Shope - Yes

(D)  Brad Striegel - Yes

And, then, both parties vote for their Precinct Committee Persons.  Republicans provided theirs and the Democrats did not.

(R)  Ken Griffin - Georgetown 3

(R)  Stephen J. Sisk - Georgetown 3

That's all, Folks!!!!

Vote Tuesday and remind your friends...

No independents running Tuesday. Primaries are only for Democratic and Republican candidates and voters. You must declare. Being Private organizations it makes me wonder why the taxpayers are involved in any of this.

Anonymous said...

Yes, they should have the Central Committee just caucus people in. But then we'd get stuck with Ted Heavrin again and I agree with KT on that one.

Anonymous said...

Pretty snarky and superficial.

John Griffin Miller

Anonymous said...

Holy moly, I agree with you on most, if not all.

Anonymous said...

I pretty much agree too except that Chuck needs to go. Like Grabowski, Chuck is a part of the Good Ole Boy network. I think Fender would be better. Not much better, but at least he wouldn't be in it for whatever he can do for the union.

Anonymous said...

Chuck is a good guy. Family man. Will do whay's best for his district. Who is this Fender guy? Never heard of him. Probably be like Grooms and do all this off the wall stuff. Stick with Chuck.

what's

Anonymous said...

Are you truly supporting Obama? You need serious help and that's for sure.

Anonymous said...

I'm going for Clere in the General, but Shope and Clemons for Council @ Large.

Anonymous said...

I already voted I sure hope they count the absentees this primary cause they sure didn't the last primary.

Anonymous said...

I'm against Obama too. So please put me down as a racist.

Anonymous said...

I will not vote for Obama. I did before. Everyone I knew did. I was a freshman at IUS and that's all anyone could talk about. I'm still at IUS, but most people I know don't think he's made our lives better at all. We're all still struggling and we aren't seeing change either. It's more of the same. I don't know if Romney is any better, but I do know with the way they keep saying he's "waging a war on women" that the Democrats are creating something just to convince people of something they made up. That is my opinion on president.

My opinion of Rep. Young is that he is very convinced that he's a smart little man. He might be a little smart, but he has done nothing either. Anyway, for the Primary, I am taking a Democrat ballot and voting for George. My dad likes him and has met him several times. So I'm relying on Dad to be right because I haven't met any of them even though I have read about all the candidates!

I have to hurry up and decide for Governor. I think Pence is a slick politician, but John Gregg is too much like that too as far as I can tell.

I will vote again for Ed Clere in November. He is smart and works with the people. I made a video of him at a town hall meeting at the library. I was going there to make a video of Ron Grooms because it was his town hall. But he seemed to be afraid to speak so Mr. Clere did all of the organizing. It was when the union people came. THEY WERE MEAN. Mr. Clere was still nice to them. He was really gentleman like. It made great documentation for my paper (I got an A!) So, after that, I decided that Ed Clere gets my vote forever.

Some of those other races, I will just vote Democrat because I don't know for sure. I am trying very hard to be more informed about local things, but donlt have time with school and work to go to meetings. I am very upset about this mess about the parks and I don't understand it. Why did the mayor veto the city and county working together? To me, that seems like a great idea! But we're not voting for mayor right now so that's moot.

Anonymous said...

If you want a gov that wears his religion on his sleave, vote for pence. That is what I liked about Mitch, he did not get involved in those types of issues, he just tried to run the state.

Anonymous said...

I agree with you, 5:06. Mitch did not wear religion on his sleeve, he just ran the state. Wish he was running for President of the United States so we would have someone to vote for.

Anonymous said...

5:00, I think those of us who support the Mayor's veto just remember that an agreement made in the early 90s for funding was completely ignored by the county these past few years. They owe about $2 million in their share.

If I hadn't paid my house payment in months, but then told the bank that I wanted a new agreement and I totally promised to honor the new one (even though I didn't the old one), the bank would be nuts to agree to the new agreement. That's kind of how the parks deal went down in the past.

I can't say for sure, but if the county had said 'You know what, we realize we were $2M behind...we can't catch that up now, and we're really sorry. Here's 100K,200K, whatever- and, let's make a new agreement.' - perhaps it wouldn't have been vetoed?

Anonymous said...

Makes sense not making a new agreement about the Parks until the County pays their past due amount. But, why not get an official IOU and go ahead and accept the agreement and the little bit of monies they wish to throw at it so the Parks Dept. can do their job for all of Floyd County?

Why not a compromise?

I knew that about the Independents. Not sure why I forgot. Thanks.

We appreciate all of the comments and realize we just can't agree on everything.

It does not matter who you vote in office. The politicions are there for 4 reasons and the american public ( The voters ) are #4 on the list. Here is the order

#1 The Party. ( No mater what party they are in, they do the party's biding 1st. Bash the opposing party to make them look good and try to brainwash you with lies to make you think their reasoning is right for everyone. )

#2 Lobbyists. ( They will take care of the people who helped put them in office. Cut and dried.)

#3 Themselves ( No explaination needed there )

#4 The voters ( Something tells me that this whole political system needs to be overhauled. Like serving in office for 4 years and having a very nice retirement on the national level.I never hear anyone complain about that. And their insurance is 2nd to none. No deductable. Everything paid for. Sweet deal on the taxpayers dime. )

I could go on but i'll save some for later.

Anonymous said...

I do not suggest anyone vote for Terry Miller. He is from Harrison County (Elizabeth) and his family seems to get a lot of "favors" done for them. Terry has been a county commissioner and his brother works for the county highway dept. and it appears that the county highway dept is doing grading, culvert installation delivering loads of gravel and all things relating to that by county workers, on county time with county road equipment. This happens only on their own property and their immediate family property that they farm. Other farmers in the area have seen this and cannot get any resolutions done as the supervisor is in their pocket also. And we wonder why our taxes are like they are. Too many politicians want in it for what they can get out if it for themselves and no one else.

Anonymous said...

Does anyone know where Ted Heavrin stands on the parks situation?

Anonymous said...

The vote went unanimous on the county council to keep the parks together. County has appropriated there money!!!

Anonymous said...

On City Council agenda tonight. Police are asking for $380,000 for 17 new ploice cars.

Anonymous said...

"Their" money and I am assuming they are making the back payment as well (ha-ha).

Anonymous said...

Ted Heavrin is the joker who keeps not paying the parks. England is the joker who kept finding reasons not to pay our share.

Anonymous said...

hey hey jeffy G how many lies you gonna tell to me

Anonymous said...

Veto upheld.

Anonymous said...

good

Anonymous said...

The veto may have been upheld but this was no win for Gahan.
Gahan did not even want to answer questions by the council
tonight. What is wrong with him??? Jeff if you can't hold your head up to your fellow piers you better take a look in the mirror!!!!!

Anonymous said...

Suddeth talking about Gahans possey on Rogers blog. Even he realizes the possey behind Gahan rather it's right wrong or indifferent. If that's the reputation Gahan wants he better sleep with one eye open because everyone has two eyes on him. His wife needs to give him lessons on speaking when you can't look at people eye to eye there is almost always a snake around!!!!

Anonymous said...

Anonymous said...

posse -- unless you are planting flowers, and possey is spelled wrong even then

Anonymous said...

Y'all are shining examples of education and intellect, with your spelling mistakes. You may see it as petty that someone would correct it, but if you can't properly construct your words, your argument is not valid- ESPECIALLY when there's a red line that appears below a misspelled word!

Oh, and have you voted today? If you choose not to today, then sit down and shut up.

Anonymous said...

I can't give credit to anyone who says "Y'all." Are we in rural Alabama here?

Anonymous said...

There are times I think so, yes.

Anonymous said...

Whether one can spell correctly is not the issue. Please go vote today if you have not already done so.

Anonymous said...

No 'bad press' on Knable? How about having her HUSBAND write the ONLY letter of support she received in the Tribune? And just LOVE all the signs in the right-of-ways. Class all the way. Please.

Anonymous said...

By the way, she's only 'Knable' when running for office. Otherwise she's Matthewson.

Anonymous said...

why would i vote for someone with 2 last names ?

Anonymous said...

I'm glad we got rid of Heavrin. Wonder how the meeting will go tonight.

Anonymous said...

Heavrin lost because of his attitude. People who know him or have interacted with him know him to be stubborn and outright nasty. There is a huge difference between being assertive and rude and rude is where Ted resides. I will bet anybody that Mills gets rid of him now because he no longer has use for him. He talks about him like a dog but has kept him around because of his Council seat. Sit back and watch.

Anonymous said...

I too am glad to see that Ted got the boot. He is a class A jerk.

Anonymous said...

How come big mouth Baylor didnt run for anything except his mouth, now's there an A plus jerk

Anonymous said...

Easy does it, Ted.

Anonymous said...

Baylor didn't run because he got the message loud and clear that we don't want him.

Anonymous said...

Right now he's dealing with an Act of God Issue. Don't you all just LOVE it?

Erik for Mayor.

Erik for Mayor.

Anonymous said...

Baylor for loser of the decade!

Anonymous said...

Yes, Baylor for loser. In fact, Baylor spent this morning writing about himslef:

"It isn't what he does "for" the community, it's what he and his acolytes are doing "to" it: Shackling the community with policies, mind-sets, beer preferences and personal wardrobes that reflect an economic development mindset of corporatist, top-down exploitation and extraction, all of it having to do with the enrichment of the ownership and managerial elites forever enshrined in [BSB]'s [liberal progressive] ethos, and always at the expense of ancillaries (i.e., the rest of us) so eager to please these faux exemplars of propriety that we squeal like little kids playing grown-up games -- while the grown-ups ... while people like [Roger Baylor] ... laugh at us for being so stupid."

He did a pretty good job describing himself.

Gotcha said...

It was an Act of God, the God Roger doesn't believe in. As they say: don't mess with the big guy upstairs. Paybacks are hell.

Anonymous said...

That's a great one Gotcha. God can put you out of business could we be lucky enough for that to happen.

Anonymous said...

I am a life long Republican Republican, but I am going to work hard for Charles Frieberger in the November race. Dave Matthews who professes to be a Christian is a lying, manipulative "yes man" to the triad of GOP who really run the party in Floyd County. Now he has appointed his wife to be party chair?? Very sad, this community is going back to the stranglehold of all Democraticrule of prior years.

Anonymous said...

SO, I have heard that Todd Young is thrilled that Shelli Yoder won the primary, thinks it will be a cakewalk...I sure hope he's wrong

Sam I am said...

Wow, 12:49, you did a great job of showing us how Roger talks about himself. You see, Roger thinks that he can say anything about anyone and that as long as he puts his name to it, it's OK. He has the right and the authority to say whatever about whomever whenever and wherever. But it's still cowardly. Roger seems unwilling to back up what he says online in places he complains about, such as City Council meetings. Who's the coward?

It's also interesting that you kept the words 'that reflect an economic development mindset of corporatist, top-down exploitation and extraction' because he thinks these words do not apply to him at all. Yet they do. They apply so well because Roger's a snob. He's as crystal clear a snob as a diamond of the first water is magnificant.

Kudos to you, 12:49.

Anonymous said...

Three things...
1.) Nobody cares about Baylor.
2.) Matthews is a huge phoney.
3.) Young is done.

Thank you

Anonymous said...

Three things...
1.)Baylor is boring, but it is still funny to write about him. Releases pressure.
2.)Matthews is sincere. He really and truly believes in his own righteousness. It is simply that his mind is clouded by his own erroneous beliefs.
3.)Yoder will have a big fight ahead of her, even though young may seems done here. The new district Young has is VERY Republican-leaning. Yoder is gorgeous. If she uses her photo very much, she'll get elected because that's how the voters are. Young's pictures make him look like a sneaky show-off. Yoder can't take a bad photo. She's much easier on the eyes than Young.

5:49 You show your ignorance when you use derogative terms to refer to LGBT people. Would you use such terms for other minority groups?

Anonymous said...

YES, LGBT individuals are a minority; they face discrimination & inequality. Yes, the majority of Americans polled support equal rights for LGBT people, that does not make them gay. Finally, majority rule does not apply to civil rights. Civil rights should not be at the will of the dominant group, if so, African Americans would still be sitting on the back of the bus in Montgomery. There are many LGBT people and their supports in New Albany. They are not leaving, so get over it.

Anonymous said...

7:36, give your name. Oh, yeah, people like you hide and throw your hate anonymously. The fact is you are nervous about your own sexual attraction to men. Give in to your inner feelings, you'll feel better.

Anonymous said...

You are the one promoting hate with your name-calling and bigotry , not I.

Anonymous said...

Majority does not rule and never has.If so there would have been no blacks in the country by 1920 and the Irish Catholics would never have been allowed in the country. Our country's laws are based on majority rule and minority rights and the two go hand in hand.

Anonymous said...

VOTE FOR YODER!!!! YOUNG needs to go out.
The same cronies behind WINNINGHAM how does he feel now should not of got in bed with those people. Those people are done.

Anonymous said...

young will slam dunk yoder, soory adam dickey gotta keep selling aflac

Anonymous said...

Dickey will always sell AFLAC.

GLBT people ARE discriminated against and need the chance to have the same rights as do married heterosexual couples. I agree 100%. However, does Barack Obama's timing on this big announcement of his seem contrived? It certainly does. For one thing, I think it's a states' rights issue. Do we want a huge federal mandate on this? I don't know.

Please, people, do not call GLBT people "fags" or other such unkind monikers. To do so is to perpetuate the ignorance that created such messes as the civil rights riots. Please be considerate of all.

If you want to slam anyone, slam Baylor. He sticks his neck out there for just that purpose and seems to like it. He also likes attacking the rest of us.

I like your post, 7:53, and I agree with the other guy too.

Now, on to less toxic discussions, please.

Good job 12:49. You've got Baylor on the run with his tail between his legs and about time too.

To the reader, NAC is no less anonymous than KT because the only one who knows the all the identities is Baylor. In fact, you could compare NAC to Baylor's swill. A few people like it a lot and a lot of people think it's disgusting.

NAC pretends to be open but of course it's anonymous to anyone but Fluffinstuff and Witchipoo who somehow think that's ok.

Baylor keeps reposting on his website his old Tribune columns. Nobody read them when they were in the Tribune and I doubt people are flocking to read them now.

I hope they start running Clere's columns again after the election. I may not always agree with Clere, but at least he writes about something besides himself.

Anonymous said...

Good post, 6:09. I want to see Clere's columns back before the election. They were the best thing in the Tribune.

As for Baylor, of course. He's a hypocrat. He wants to be the god who knows everything. Why else would he make people tell him who they are but the rest of us don't know? What he really means is that if HE doesn't know who it is, then it's annonomyous and we're all trogonomyous. Pretty stupid of him to think we woudn't see through his hypocratical whining.

Anonymous said...

maybe Baylor will write about the spring collection of leotards

Anonymous said...

Where's the mystery? People accuse other people of doing what they themselves do. What's so hard to understand? Baylor's fat, accusatory finger pointing at us points the proverbial three back at himself.

It's my Opinion said...

I have seen several citizens of New Albany confront Rog on the crap he writes. Let's start with Dick Stewert. He confronted Rog at a council meeting. So did Becky Gardenour along came CFA and Vicki Denhart also confronted him too. Of course Rog lost a lot of business when he did what he was instructed by calling Mrs. Denhart a 'lying bitch' so who has gotten the last laugh many people who stood up to him, Bully is what he is just that simple.
He attacks Clere he sure lost their business didn't he? He has attacked Valla Ann on Main Street would you like to hear more? How many people has this guy stalked I'm pass counting on my hands and toes. Come stalk my a$$ and you might find some lead and you will be singing in a higher pitch also.
Get over yourself Roger God is going to punish you for the evil you have in you. Write about the past, bitch about tolls you are a member of the 'entitlement generation!' Turn off the water, drink your swill and get every nickel you think you are entitled too. We're all waiting for your business to fail. It's ashame you have put such a high value on your blog, your swill, and you the person but 99.9% of citizens in New Albany agrees with us and NOT you.

Anonymous said...

Forget Baylor. We got more important things to talk about. HOw about the job Jeff Gahan is doing?

Anonymous said...

He sucks as a Mayor. What about his daughter's NEW LLC. running the entertainment downtown? And here Gahan thought we would ever find out. Great to have friends in high places.

Hmmmmm.

Anonymous said...

ooops: NEVER find out.

LOL

Anonymous said...

You 12:07 hit the nail right on the head.

Anonymous said...

Gaha's daughter doing business with the city, what a bunch of crap, what's next Gahan's veneer business supplying the city and dont forget the official christmas tree for the city. you are so done gahan, whatever happened to no bid contracts ending?

Anonymous said...

If you all think Roger is losing business because he called someone a( lying bitch ) guess again. I was in sportstime the other night and it was packed. The small amount of people on this blog and the small amount that go to council meetings compaires not to the vast majority of people who eat in New Albany every night. He still has the money flowing in and still serves great food. I would like to know what you all are smoking to make stupid comments like the one 12:07 made.

Anonymous said...

They are all high on religion, intolerance and ignorance!

Anonymous said...

Lying again! Daughter has nothing to do with city entertainment. Making stuff up...as usual.

Anonymous said...

I've been told Roger also serves minors.

Anonymous said...

Dan Coffey told me the same thing. That a under age son in DISTRICT 1 had bought beer at his place of business too.

Anonymous said...

You see, hit the nail on the head, touch upon truth, use Baylor's own words in a better way than he ever has, and he whines like a beaten cur and sends his attack dogs on here to bark about religion and ignorance. So typical.

12:07 said a couple of things that I would say are incorrect.

For one thing, it's unfortunate, but it's not 99% of New Albany residents that agree with us. Perhaps 70 or 80% of them do. Sad to say, there's the "liberal progressive" group. They disagree with us. And then there's the inner circle (getting smaller all the time). They don't agree with us either.

The other thing is that Baylor's business is going to fail. As much as some of us may wish it would, it' snot failing. Baylor's business is doing just fine. He's not rolling in cash, but he's nowhere near about to fold. So forget the whole idea. He derives his following from LOUISVILLE. Why else does he fuss incessantly about tolls? But, if his swill is worth drinking (and the followers appear to think it is), they'll come, tolls or not. He's just bellyaching.

As for everything else, you spoke accurately, 12:07. I've confronted Baylor and he's unwilling to stand by what he says. He hems and haws and makes you know that as long as he's at home behind his keyboard, he feels free to say what he will. Face to face he's a c-o-w-a-r-d.

Baylor's nasty about Gardenour, hateful about anyone connected with 1SI, argues nonstop with people like Spencer Coe and Vaughan Scott, makes complete fun of Kerry Stemler, has some sort of weird crush on Ed Clere (who has received at least a couple dozen votes that I know of BECAUSE Baylor writes about him so hatefully while Clere manfully and graciously puts up with it), and he goes on and on about TOLLS thinking that everyone else thinks just like he does.

It's hard to understand how he can go around with his head in the sand about tolls. More people want bridges and are willing to pay tolls than not so we can have them. He thinks tolls are the mega issue of the century. In fact, bridges will bring us out of slow and costly commerce between Southern Indiana and Louisville and into a new era where we'll waste less time and money sitting around waiting on bridge traffic.

As for Baylor's big bicycle plans, let him keep encouraging bike lanes. That's very nice. I think he should stick with that, but not expect that all of us who transport kids, neighbors and ailing parents to games, shopping, doctors visits and wherever will be able to ride bicycles to do our various errands. Baylor only has himself to transport since his wife can also drive herself from here to there and back.

Baylor is inconsiderate and self-centered. I was at that Council meeting and heard him call Denhart a "lying b^^^^," and it is clear that he is also a mean and nasty bully. 12:07 is, for the most part, correct and so is 12:49 (who REALLY hit the nail on the head!).

Now, enough of Baylor.

Anonymous said...

Hey 5:38...the "bullies" are on this site just pretending to discuss issues. It is really an excuse to slam anyone who tries to get something done in NA.

Anonymous said...

Roger has partners in his business. His ex wife and sister started them.

Anonymous said...

You all should call this the bash baylor blog. it seems to me that if you keep typing about Baylor then he has won the battle. Silence is the biggest killer when wanting to hurt someone. What about the upcominig election ? Someone with some info let me know who survived last tuesday.

Anonymous said...

6:03, that's the funniest thing I've read on here. Allow me a moment to laugh. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!

Baylor is the one they're all talking about. Baylor doesn't "try to get something done in NA." He's too busy talking about the people who ARE doing something.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH, and so on.

Anonymous said...

Enough about Baylor. I'm sick of hearing about him, tell you the truth.

Anonymous said...

Don't worry. He Who Shall Not Be Named has his dumbest minion online kicking Roger's personal favorite. Fluffinstuff and Witchipoo are two sick doods.

Anonymous said...

The LLC thing is true. But its a secret. How do you know about it?

Anonymous said...

OK, here's a question. Why do you call Baylor Fluffinstuff? Where did that come from? And who is Witchipoo?

Anonymous said...

Anyone can apply for LLC... Nothing secretive about it.

Anonymous said...

Well, I wouldn't say NOTHING secretive about it. You can form an LLC and then you can do stuff under the guise of the LLC. People don't know who is part of the LLC and so whatever the partners are doing just flies under the radar.

Anonymous said...

i herd that baylor guy is running the new LLC for riverfront so he can sell his swill to all the louisville artsy fartsyes who came 2 see all the music in the streetz.

Agsin aia say we have bigger issues to discuss. The NAPD wants 17 new Police cars and they have no take home policy.

Anonymous said...

By the way why is Baylor smoothing with Republicans?

Anonymous said...

Because they have money and he is a businessman.

Anonymous said...

Baylor is a commie but likes making a profit what a phony

Anonymous said...

The word is smoozing. Baylor smoozes with Republicans because he is a big phony. He likes only the ones that say their against tolls. But he doesn't really like them because unless you agree 100% with Baylor, he doens't really like you at all.

OK. Just read and commented on the Tribune site on a couple of articles. My GOSH! We live in the middle of a bunch of complete whiners! They're fussing about TOLLS! I need to call the Wahhhhhmbulance.

I couldn't believe that a state senator would pretend to be against tolls in an effort to please Baylor and his gang.

I'm truly sick and tired of the whole lot of them.

Anonymous said...

You might be sick of "the whole lot of them" but they are determined to keep making noise. Here's what Rog tweeted today.

The oligarchs continue to ignore public comments on tolls, which is why we must keep making them.

Those of us who want bridges even if tolls have to be put in place are going to keep contacting the "oligarchs" too. Starting today with my city councilman, Bob Caesar. He is going to hear from me and from as many neighbors up here as I can get to call him. Then, we'll remind the other "oligarchs" that we really are grateful for what they're doing to get bridges built that should have been here before I was BORN!

Anonymous said...

Baylor's done in this town. STOP! STOP! STOP! Stop talking about him! Anyone going to the Council meeting?

Anonymous said...

Not this time. Nothing but a circus.

Anonymous said...

The only problem is that Grooms came to "him" and not the other way around.

Anonymous said...

is quack quack gahan going to be there or will he hide again

Anonymous said...

That's because Grooms spends as much time as he can trying to convince every local scoundrel he's on their side. Then he talks about them behind their back. Hibbard is an example that's pretty funny. My sister works in Hibbard's office. Hibbard thinks Grooms likes him. Grooms thinks Hibbard likes him.

Anonymous said...

Gahan won't be there, you can count on that. Cluck, cluck, cluck, chicken.

Anonymous said...

build the bridge and put a toll on baylor's street

Anonymous said...

hey biker boy, how about a bridge with triple tolls for bikers in leotards

Anonymous said...

I think we should toll Bank Street and no where else.

Anonymous said...

When are more important topics going to be discussed? I remember reading that Kitchen Table had real issues to talk about. This is getting old and very borning.

Anonymous said...

hey baylor how is going to a buy local fair in louisville helping new albany you overeducated twit?

Anonymous said...

Calling someone over-educated sounds like "education envy" to me.
Only ignorant people would say someone is over educated, but then again, how are minds opened? only by education.

Anonymous said...

What is wrong with he over educated comment is that it's refering to Baylor, someone who left education behind and in his own quest for knowlegde left truth behind.

Anonymous said...

I agree with 9:25 stop talking about balyor and discuss important issues facing this city. My god If you want to bash baylor quit hiding behind this Anonymous blog , go to his restaraunt, bash him in front of his patrons. That will have a lot more effect on him than the handful of people reading it on here.

Anonymous said...

I heard Baylor is going to run for Mayor next round.

Anonymous said...

I heard people are lying on this website every day.

Anonymous said...

So, what do you all think about this Baylor guy?

Anonymous said...

I don't really know him that well. Just all the stupid stuff i see on this blog. He surely can't be as bad as everyone on here make him seem.

Anonymous said...

He's worse than they make him seem, but he's also not worth talking about. I've never seen anyone twist things people say and do any worse. As for going to his business to tell the people, no, I think not. I'd rather stay away from his business, but I'm glad to tell people how horrible he is elsewhere.

Anonymous said...

I don't know about the rest of you but I'm really sick and tired of talking about Baylor. How about talking about tonight's meeting? Anyone going?

Anonymous said...

Rog is much worse.

Anonymous said...

Rog is going, so I hear.

Anonymous said...

Do you idiots know that if "Rog" starts counting all your messages about him he'll get a huge head. He's already a bit of a hot air balloon, but gee wilickers!

Anonymous said...

I heard thy're tabling Gonder's committee crap tonight. Is the audit done yet?

Anonymous said...

I like Rog. He makes some tasty beer.

Anonymous said...

I hope they do table Gonder's crap. It's stupid.

Anonymous said...

You people are psychic vampires.
Good-bye.

Anonymous said...

What is going on with Gonder ????

Anonymous said...

Seems like I heard 5 council members didn't support Gonder on tolls. Accept it it's going to happen anyway. Just means a certain brewhouse has no influence on the issue. Now let's get down to the real issues of our city.

Anonymous said...

Amen to that 3:32. That certain brewhouse owner has no reason to think that the new bridge on I65 will have ANYTHING to do with harming his business. He's barking at the moon here.

Anonymous said...

Are you calling Baylor a werewolf? ROFLMAO

Anonymous said...

Which is he? Fluffinstuff, Or Werewolf? They're not exactly the same things.

Anonymous said...

The grapevine told me today that a lot of city owned buildings are mold infested and need to have work done to them. I will investigate further and post what i find out. Sounds like an expensive rumor.

Anonymous said...

Oh boy. There goes out tax money. Repairing old buildings is costly. But needs to be done. If people work in them then it really needs to be done.
