Gahan's answer to Citizen questioning this act was "they are like the Fire Department, they get it". Really? If true, why the Executive Order? Ha. How stupid do they think we are? (Never mind, I already know the answer.)
As to the information printed in the Tribune about Kaye Geary's daughter was hired as Controller because she is familiar with the new software -- our software is approximately seven (7) years old. New software?
According to State Board of Accounts, we are still NOT RECONCILING our Books.
One last tidbit, we are still not billing City's properties for Storm water and Sewer bills but yet the City wants to float more Bonds?

I was at Clere's town hall meeting yesterday. One guy got up and talked about how Clere was stubbern yet the only one who is smart enough to be in office. I don't think Clere is stubbern. He seems pretty open minded. But I agree that hes the only smart one they had up there. Grooms brings nothing but fence ridding to the talk and that lady, Rhonda Rodes, is a complete idiot! She talked more than anyone else at the meeting and said nothing. Zip. Clere lissened and responded with respect. He said he isn't against unions and I believe him. I'm union. And I relize that even if Clere votes for that bill, he's only doing it because he really thinks it's the best thing to do. I can see that. A few of our guys were sort of calling him a liar and Mitches toady but some of the rest of us saw that he really is looking out for the right anser. I saw that Baylor wrote about him and looked it up after I read it on here. Baylor's stupid. He's slightly right but also too he makes up stuff. I think Clere is one of the good guys and if he votes for that bill that I hope he's write that unions can still be strong. Otherwise I will be pretty mad. If it is true about the insurance and no one has said that it is, I really beieve it is up to England not Gahan to ask that it be resinded. His behavior his last thirty days in office was self serving and an attempt to undermine the incoming mayor.
