The BPW was very nice tonight only one candidate brought up about our bridge closure and that was BENEDETTI.
She acknowledges the stress and pressure it has put on each individual and thanked us for our time and patience with the circumstances. That has really impacted our community. Also talked about Indiana cities and towns meeting with other legislators in the state of Indiana.
I have not heard of any other council member getting out of New Albany to learn more about government and what is going on in other cities.
I am lying my vote with BENEDETTI and so should everyone in the 5th District.

Well, what's this deal about Messer not putting the disclaimer? What happens if you don't put that on there? I have no idea and always wondered why that stuff is always on there about "paid for by friends of so and so." What's the deal with that?
I'm not sure how much it is, but you can be fined for not including the disclosure on yard signs (sorry, Rog), mailers, advertising, and just about everything except for shirts and bumper stickers. You can get in big trouble if you are a habitual offender because your campaign receipts and expenses need to be completely visible and easy to follow. I have no idea what Messer may or may not have done, but this is an important thing for him to pay attention to.
i'm voting for Messer. this crap about him is made up. he won't get in any trouble about disclosures because he hasn't done anything wrong.
It's a $50 fine per sign, flyer's and etc. It's the law. When you become a candidate you are given a list of what you can and can't do and what the laws are. He is not above the law. He knows better, he's not a first time candidate. Someone has to bring it to the states attention. I say go for it and hold him accountable.
