WHAT'S THIS? YOU'RE KIDDING, RIGHT?

Is it true?  We are giving Shane Gibson $50,000 to fight Pasttimes?  Is this another "DVD" debacle?  Sure it is.  Wait and see.

Who do you think will win your Council race?  Are we going to have an all Republican Council?  Does it even matter?  Nah, I don't think so - what do you think?

Didn't you know we LIKE paying morons thousands and thousands of dollars? Of COURSE we're paying Gibson to go after Pastimes. Question is, are you SURE it's only $50,000? Just asking.

$50,000 plus billable hours, bond commission and much, much more. No wonder the city is broke.

Why are our tax dollars being used to fight the appeal by the Historic Preservation? They made this mess and this lawsuit let them pay it.

I certainly don't like paying that Gibson idiot a dime, much less $50,000 plus "billable hours, bond commission and much, much more."

I'd far rather see the two parties come to the table with a sensible mediator. I think this matter could be solved outside the courts and without paying a complete joke any more in legal fees.

But, you know the mayor. Always wants to have his hand in the till, whether he does it through Gibson or whoever doesn't matter. Bottom line is, England wins again.

JMHO

Your on to something JMHO but this time England is going against two men who have big bucks and will not back down.

I know for a fact one business is planning on sueing several members personally.

I say go for it!

As far as Gibson goes, his days are numbered, bye, bye back to private practice.

You all are so cute.

Saw that slug Gibson on TV the other night. Saw that nut Beardsley too. Neither of them managed to make themselves look good. Gibson looks like a lazy, fat slob, and Beardsley looks like a presumptuous, arrogant lunatic.

It wasn't cute.

I don't think that was a television you were looking at, that was a mirror.

It's against State Law to fix tickets. Gibson should be disbarred and have his license pulled. No wonder our city is broke.

Gibson should pick another profession. Like unemployed come Jan. 2012.

Stick a fork in him he's done in New Albany.

Just think, if Gibson and England hadn't cut a deal with Bearsley we could have the money to pick up limbs.

I smell another 'sewer increase' coming down the pipeline.

Frank's Steak House to open on Main Streeet. Just under the radar for a $1,000 liquor license.

Did anyone notice it was the County's SWAT TEAM on Pearl yesterday. So, now lets just park all those city police cars.

I wonder what that cost us in overtime, since half the force was hiding behind walls?

Don't forget: Pasttimes sued the City, not the other way around.

This is not true.

If you check the court records, you will see that Gibson does not even represent the Historic Preservation Commission.
