CITY COUNCIL MEETING

Yeah, it hurts attending the Council meeting. I'm not sure if it's the frustration of watching agendas being pre-approved and hashed out before the meetings or the lack of knowledge or caring about our finances.

I still hope to see you tonight at 7:30. I don't know anyone who can change the Council or England's mind(s) about bidding out the sanitation contract. No one will address the simple question about the cost of diesel fuel and how the garbage rates are going to go up nor how Rumpke says they would do it cheaper.

There will probably be a protest, too, about Messer. Cousins is one to talk, though. He sure has baggage with his gun(s) and the projects. But, I forget how tight he and Coffey are. Let's not forget how he was rewarded for bad behaviour by getting the Precinct seat and his two daughters working in the city-county building. Memories are short here in New Albany, alas.

Cousin's is a whack job. Maybe the whites of New Albany need to protest against England. You know he's a racist too.

Bid it out, do something right for once, Mr. England.

The $9 million question is will the obey the law and bid it out, or cave in to England.

Let's see who has some balls tonight.

3 stood strong. Gahan, Price and McLaughlin.

All that crap about EMC's contract and Council passing an ordinance stating bids must be taken...all for naught.

England wanted this bad. I wonder why.

My husband and I attended lasy nights council meeting and could not believe what we were hearing.

I encourage Ms. Denhart to run against Coffey after last nights "show and tell" Councilman Coffey put on.

After last nights meeting I am fully aware that we have 6 morons sitting at that table.

Thanks to Gahan, Price and McLaughlin for asking the tough questions.

So will someone explain how they come up with, it will cost us less by approving this new contract?

I smell a ni**er in the wood pile.

Amen to that one, anonymous.
Becareful they'll be calling you a racist next.

Can we really trust our mayor's decisions anymore?

It looks like to me the council violated their own law.

I'm with FOS. Vote'm All Out.

I guess Mel Gibson is leaving post on here now.

WOW, letting posts stand calling aperson a Ni**er, yet still carry on about denhart being called what she was.

Anonymous said...

And which blog carried on about denhart? Yeah that's what i thought.

It's an expression, but you wouldn't know that... progressives, would you?

Thanks for reading though.

Quicksand causes flooding? When did this happen? It always seemed to me that sand drains water faster than regular soil, concrete, or anything like that. (Call your local extension office and ask them what to add to your garden soil if it has poor drainage). And vibrations from a train cause flooding as well? That, there is no response to. The great mulletted councilman strikes again and makes us all look like a bunch of hicks. Next time you represent the city of New Albany in a news cast please at least put o something other than a stained t-shirt.

Just because something was an acceptable expression at one time does not mean that it is today.

Put that in your pipe.(BONG)

Im thinking that the woman that used the expression was the one in the hoochie shorts at the meeting. If I were her I wouldnt of said that she had the brand new Cobolt sitting at 15th and Elm.

Benedetti blows a .10 an claims she's not drunk. Give us all a break. This is a fine example how elected officials think they are above the law.

Money talks and bs walks until election time.

if that was the case then why does she have a trial coming up in august where the failure to submit a breathalyzer test has been approved to be submitted as evidence? This case is no different than any other dwi case, all that differs is the ability of some to use it for a soap box to climb on to scream about how there is a conspiracy going on

hmmm... rental house registration ordinance is only intended to make "another slush fund for england". Why do I get the impression that this came from a follower here.

Anonymous said...

Because it is what it is, it's nothing but a slush fund for England.

Anonymous said...

And exactly how many shantys do you rent out that makes you so opposed to this? I have one and I am all for it.

Anonymous said...

Everyone knows it's a slush fund. These people need to get off their asses and do their job, no sense in another layer of government.

Btw, I don't own rental property.

Why did my property taxes go up this year?

Anonymous said...

Because England over spent our money. That's why.
