A good Memorial Day Weekend going out to all New Albanians.

Hey, after the weekend holiday, will you do an article or print this city's financial woes? Thanks.

Thank you to all those who gave their lives in service to our country! Our prayers go out to their families and friends who miss them. Thank you to the veterans who have served and safely returned. May God continue to bless you. May you live a long and loving life.
Our thanks go out to the men and women who are currently serving, especially those in harms way. May God keep you all in His loving care and may you safely return to your country and loved ones. God Bless America!

Our thanks and deep appreciation to the men and women who put their lives on the line to defend our Country and keep the American Flag waving high.

We wish that our local officials had
the COURAGE AND HONESTY to run our
city of New Albany in the same way of courage and honesty that our troops have.

Memorial day is the day to honor all those who have paid the ultimate price so that others didn't have to. It is a day to honor those who fought to preserve the freedom of this country and the ones we enjoy today.

God Bless America

Reported in the Tribune:
"There will be two Memorial Day services in New Albany Monday to honor those soldiers who have died in combat.

Both New Albany VFW posts, along with the American Legion, will host a joint service 11 a.m. at the war memorial along Market Street.

Members of all three veterans organization will leave 10:30 a.m. from the VFW 3281 post at Fifth and Market streets and march to the memorial service.

There will be a second service 2 p.m. at the National Cemetery along Ekin Avenue."

I agree. I hope many people will turn out to see and hear the Veterans and pay honor - a true meaning of Memorial Day.

Pray for our city and Country, folks.

"God Bless America" is a statement that we all can agree on as we ask the Good Lord to watch over our troops serving to protect our country.
