WHAT'S UP?

We watched the news the other night and the follow up about New Albany's Parking tickets and Mr. Beardsley.  The news flash we heard concerned how the third biggest accumulator of parking tickets was in a "trust" name and the Police couldn't track the owner of the vehicle.  Hmmmm.  What is wrong with this picture?  May we have a license plate the Police can't trace or identify?

We heard through our Council rep Council approved tax abatements for CHODO.  Are you kidding us?  My family will be signing up Tuesday morning.

Don't think Gahan has not talked jobs. 8 years serving for two candidates no fiscal responsibility is right. We are in trouble. And the following Of people for candidates most of them will go where the wind blows. Clearly no one won that debate.

Clearly no one won that debate tonight. Two candidates with 8 years experience no fiscal responsibility is right.
We are in trouble!!!!! supporters for the candidates that were there will go were ever the wind blows.

Yeah, well, what other candidates do you have in mind? don't tell me you're one of those Ed Clere for New Albany Mayor people. We need him in the statehouse!

I was rather disappointed in Jack tonight. He was police this and police that. He's an officer of 27 years. Vote for me and you will see change. Hey, Jack the police and fire get 87% of our General Fund, why in the hell would I ever vote for you?

He reminded me of the last Mayoral race when England made all those promises.

Keep the change Jack, I'm voting for Jeff.

What Jack told me just the other day was NOT what he said at last nights debate. That guy will say anything to get elected.

Raymond cousins what in the world are you doing walking in all cocky last night with your people. I have seen you involved for years and I like you. The man has paid his dues! Mayor after mayor candidates have used and abused you. And I know you have been kicked when you are down time and time again. But yet you want to kick other ones after the dues have been paid. You need to find your friends out there who like Raymond for who he is not what Raymond can do for me. And I am one of those friends!

There we go again 87 percent there we go again it keeps growing don't state facts unless you know them and this is clearly wrong

They all said no deputy mayor but they didn't say anything about a city manager or some other assistant. You know Kojoke and Scharlow want some position with Jack. It is Kojoke's last chance to be somebody and make money before his bookstore closes.

Anonymous said...

its all wrong. law or no law. what type of person uses building and equipment purchased by tax payers for their own personal business? the city is already broke and if this is just a bit of what is going on down there no wonder why we are in the mess we are. it's unethical at the very least. by you saying their is no law against it doesnt mean their isnt. try malfeasance & conversion. guess 1:53 u find no problem with it.

My nine year old grandson could have designed a better logo for 'new albany first.' Sure hope no money exchanged hands for that dumb logo.

Anonymous said...

That's a good one anonymous 6:28PM. I thought it was kind of ugly myself.

Anonymous said...

it's not really my thing but i have nothing against the logo. but i am happy that someone, even though its someone who is not my friend, volunteered their time and talents to help local small businesses with their ad campaign.

of course, since new albany's city sport is anonymous insults against whoever once slighted you, no matter how silly or how long ago, i really expected no other sort of comments here about the logo.

if you like steve and ann, it's a good logo. if you don't, it's not.

if you like roger, it's good beer. it's you don't, it's not.

etc., etc.

no offense taken. i know how things go around here.

too bad for new albany most people miss all these great opportunities to do something else, all because the good idea, the good logo, or the good beer came from someone we were out to get for some reason we can no longer remember.

Anonymous said...

8:11 Pleezzzzzzz, give us a break. It's a ugly logo now get over it, we're all adults here so stop with the sermon.

The Grassroots Truth

I agree with 8:11, when she said that we should appreciate that someone volunteered time and talent to help local small businesses. Now, does this also apply with the DNA ad campaign Come to City? Somehow, I doubt it.

Furthermore, there's no animosity against people and, for me at least, there's no "reason we can no longer remember." In fact, it is Roger A Baylor who is constantly rude. I could come up with a new story almost DAILY.

I like Ann just fine and don't know Steve, but the logo is kind of so-so, as was Come to City. Neither one strikes me in particular, and this has nothing to do with who I like or with whoever may have slighted me in the ancient past.

My problem with the group New Albany First, is that rather than work WITH the GRASSROOTS groups already established around here (and appreciate that someone has spent a lot of volunteer hours to help things get done--a LOT of someones). Instead of work WITH them, Roger and his groupies SNUBBED them, choosing to start their own group and then create their own branding ("the city's first ever grassroots organization devoted to small, local, independent business").

I would say that throwing all the efforts of DNA, 1SI, and the city officials, back in their faces is a current and strong insult. I don't see how you can get any more grassroots than Paul Kiger or Susan Kampfer or Curt Peters or Dave Barksdale. Truth to tell, Baylor having problems with these people is a sign that he really IS the one with the problem. These people have gotten a lot done with a little money and not much backing from Baylor's group and constant jibes and sneers from them.

8:11, it seems that you feature yourself some sort of peacemaker, but you are amazingly able to ignore the insults and outright meanness of one Roger A Baylor, a local business owner who seems hellbent on creating his OWN top down situation with himself at the apex. So, why the hue and cry that he's so low and those meanies at the top are always looking down at him?

Do I hate or even strongly dislike Baylor? Not at all. But his antics are grating and wear kind of thin after so long of constant, angry hatred.

You'd do well to see what's there instead of looking at the world through one of Baylor's colored bottles.

Anonymous said...

229, Your comments lead me to believe you have no idea 1. What NA 1st is, 2. Who's involved (you HAVE seen the director and board list, no? and 3. What niche they actually serve.

DNA does what they do extremely well; but, they have a fairly broad focus. That's OK! Honestly. They're focused on downtown development and they do a darn good job of it!

But, just as 1SI, there's only so many things they can focus on from a smaller, more niche perspective.

It's always great fun to pick on and shoot down a new group, specifically if you're misinformed and think that someone that got your panties in a bunch is deeply involved...whether it's true that they are or not.

But to this point, I've not seen where 1SI, DNA, NA First, and 1SI's smaller more local focused group can't work together on their respective strengths.

Unless you're just being petulant and stupid, in which case none of us can help you.

Anonymous said...

The only grassroots I've even seen in the City of New Albany is Citizens For Accountability. Now that's what I call real grassroots. A group of citizens fighting for what's best for all of us and not just some of us.

Anonymous said...

Link please.

Anonymous said...

Citizen participation is citizen power.
Citizens For Accountability is a non-partisan group standing up for you and I. They all come from our community, they attend school board meetings, city council meeting and county council meetings to let our voices be heard.
They speak and represent you, me and many others. They hold elected officials accountable for their votes and views. Just look at their leadership and what they have accomplished.
Our local government faces inadequate involvement by ill-informed constituents.
Citizens For Accountability is the only true grassroots movement in our city.
That's my opinion.

Anonymous said...

I think that 2:29 understands very well. NA 1st is nothing more than another group trying to fill their "niche" in a way they view as better than all the others. If Baylor's blog is to believed, of course.

Anonymous said...

I agree with everything you said describing Citizens for Accountability. I also agree that Citizens for Accountability is a grassroots group. They do many great things.

But they are not the "only grassroots" in New Albany. There are, as you see, many grassroots groups.

Anonymous said...

Now Fluffinstuff is attacking the England administration. What's next? Will he start to attack ghosts and goblins at Halloween?

And 6:33 is right. I didn't think of this before but Fluffinstuff's groupies are just "another group trying to fill their "niche" in a way THEY VIEW AS BETTER THAN all the others."

Just look at Fluffinstuff's newest so called "column" and read all about how HE singlehandly brought all the "top" people to their knees as we voted against the stupid slogan we'd have voted down without him.

I looked in a thesauraus for a word that is what he is and I found one: self-gratulatory.

Yawn.

Anonymous said...

i would LOVE to work with grassroots group citizens for accountability.

how do i find them?
who is their board?
what are their ideas to help small businesses?

it's hard to work with a group when you can't prove they exists, and if they do exists, all their members are anonymous.

Anonymous said...

question: would new albany bloom if tomorrow we made roger baylor a "nice guy"?

answer: no.

a better new albany requires leadership, hard work, people getting involved and working together.

if you don't see baylor doing those things, that's okay. new albany's future doesn't depend on his whim or you liking him.

Anonymous said...

My problem with the group New Albany First, is that rather than work WITH the GRASSROOTS groups already established around here

What groups did you have in mind?

Have they asked NA1ST how they can work together?

Anonymous said...

Do I hate or even strongly dislike Baylor? Not at all. But his antics are grating and wear kind of thin after so long of constant, angry hatred.

I’m no Roger basher either but I’m feeling the grating anger too.

I value much in Roger but here's my beef. He seems to think DNA volunteers (or other people) have to do something perfect (or at least to his satisfaction) to not be an obstacle worthy of ridicule. I don’t mean ridicule the bad ideas, I mean ridicule the people. Reading NAC, not all of his criticism is constructive when it comes to DNA stuff he does not like.

No Roger, you don’t have to silently accept good intentions that are grossly misdirected. Yes, you can critique people’s bad ideas w/o making it so personal that people who could be brought around to your way of thinking decide instead to not even both.

For example he laments that DNA is the only one out there with a marketing campaign. I bet that if any other group in town, or any other individual, stepped up and proposed another marketing campaign, DNA members would be joyful. Guess you cannot insult the city’s or UEZ’s ad campaign when they never bothered. DNA doesn't try to shut people out. They're the only game in town, the "clique," because no one else even bothers to try. I guess Roger would prefer no one bother to try.

Citizens for accountability what a group all they do is attack people they cannot control!!!!!

I noticed someone put on here Gahan said budget that was stupid he has 8 years of this budget, 4 years bragging as council president he did not solve anything in that time.
So I suppose people are going to try and give him 12 the people here in new Albany had better stop this train wreck.

Anonymous said...

...and by "prove me wrong" i dont mean another anonymous or unverifiable post by the same person claiming to be someone new.

Anonymous said...

My, my, somebody's angry. Tsk, tsk.

Well, it seems to me that there's a demand for "proof." Why prove to Fluffinstuff that there's more than one person? I can't think of any. So, I'm certainly not going to be the one to come out of the closet. And I'm not outing my colleagues either.

LOL

Staying under the cloak said...

Either that one person has multiple personalities and doesn't know how to write properly one minute and writes like an English teacher the next, or there really ARE other members.

And why should CFA not remain safely under the cloak of anonymity? There's too much at risk. Too many dangers, even though the hit man's out of the picture.

Ugly politics have to be dealt with by people with some backbone, and that doesn't mean people who are willing to toot their own horn all over the place (eg, Fluffinstuff).

And, no, I'm no fan of Fluffinstuff, nor do I dislike him either. He's actually funny sometimes, and has some good points. However, he does little but get in the way of progress to push forward ideologies only he and his cronies agree with.

Anonymous said...

If I were Paul Kiger or Susan Kampfer or Curt Peters or Dave Barksdale I would ask Baylor what he paid for these marketing services DNA helps put together or the concerts Kampfer helps with where he sells his beer? He would be a lot worse off if these people just said screw it and went home.

The people of this city need to take their heads out of the sand and face the facts...our perfect little city to raise children with it's have paved streets, $1K liquor license, bars on most corners, an illegal deputy mayor a over paid city attorney, a over paid police and fire department and "great parks" is as corrupt as they come. The England adminstration has their hands in our pockets, and is lining their own pockets and their friends pockets with what they pull out. Until there is enough of us to make a public stand. I feel the cycle will continue unless we make it thru Dec. and keep England off the council, or at least until the FBI march into city hall and put the shackles on the mayor.
I applaud CFA, they speak their mind on those issues that interest not only you and others but myself. I'm sick of paying for services I am not getting.
If you want to contact Mrs. Denhart her number is in the phone book that's how I contacted her and she answered all my questions and listen to my concerns.

What I want to talk about this morning is the final Ed Clere column. What's up with THAT? The News and Tribune is totally STUPID to let that go. JMHO

What's up with it is that the Tribune editors have no grip on reality.

Contacting Denhart what is wrong with you she ran for election and did not prevail. Why are you not contacting the people running for office. Make people accountable before you vote.
You got a candidate touting budget well he's been on the council 8 years and president for four years he actually made that statement at the debate but has done nothing for the budget. But let's vote him in office again and give him 12 years to see if he can get it right. Mr. Gahan you control the budget I think.

Checked out that Clere column. Don't normally read this on line, but I did after seeing your comment, 5:13. I could hardly believe it and kind of thought you were kidding. His column really is the best thing they've had going. I don't even know what to say. I'm shocked.

Anonymous said...

I don't think NA 1st has a web page. Ditto Main Street Pres. Clere column gone? That's a major bummer. Always like to read those.

Anonymous said...

Boycott the Tribune until they put Clere back on!!!!

That's BS, we need to hear from our State Rep.

Anonymous said...

Anyone attend the business mixer? I sure hope they don't expect my tax dollars to pay for billboards and flyers.

Isn't that why we have the Visitors Bureau?

Anonymous said...

5:02- why is he entitled to a column? Other candidates have to pay the N&T to take out an ad for their campaigns. Why not Clere?

Also, if he has one, then our mayor should have one too. Actually, so should all of our city council people. And of course, our US senators and representatives, as well as our state senators.

C'mon, seriously? Fair's fair. He does a decent job with it, but a column certainly isn't an entitlement for ANYONE, much less an elected official who is campaigning. Quit taking the stupid pills.

Anonymous said...

Well, 5:19, if you'd read the collumn you'd find out that Rep. Clere himself thinks the mayor and everyone who can or will should write a column. I agree that public officials should write columns. Even the ones I disagree with. More is better than less. Also, I don't think Rep. Clere is "entitled" to a column. But I asked Steve Kozaravich one time about this and found out that Ed Clere doesn't get paid for his column and that he writes it as a public service. To tell you the truth, I like having my state representative tell me what he is thinking as he makes votes and does the committee work. Also, I have learned a lot from reading the column. No longer is the office of state rep or senator all mysterious or something so rare to see. Rep. Clere has definitely made the public interested in the process of lawmaking.

Anonymous said...

Vickie Denhart , Dan Coffey and steve price always write for you even if it's not true. Oh wait a minute Baylor also puts on a good show.
I know what your saying Clere needs to write!

Anonymous said...

Clere does need to write. Maybe he should start a blog!

Anonymous said...

Why don't all of you geniuses sign up for his newsletter, or go to his site to read the same thing that he published in his articles? Clearly you have found the internet...one would think you could take that slight flickering of a light bulb above your head and connect it with the very thing that exists (but in a different location. No? You can't? Ah, no surprises there.

Anonymous said...

They are only making sure there is enough space for Roger to start his column again.

Anonymous said...

If the Tribune starts allowing those columns about piss brew again, I'm moving. Period.

Anonymous said...

I'm hoping that one of these days people can be more civil with each other. Until then, even I'm thinking of moving, and I've lived in New Albany, inside the city limits, for 60 years. I'm sick of all the malcontents.

People should feel free to drink whatever beer they like. There's nothing wrong with mass produced beer, there's nothing wrong with craft beer, there's only something wrong with Roger's beer (see previous discussion regarding Roger's strange obsession with semen).

If Bud Light is swill, then Bank Street Brew is spoog. So, which would you rather have? A nice, frothy glass of swill? Or a nice, frothy glass of spoog? I know which one I pick (sorry, Rog).

In my dream, Randy Smith had been run over the year before when he'd done it (wishful thinking?). Then, Jessica Knable leapt off the float and stood there with her hands on her hips telling Roger off. Remember, I'm still dreaming now. Roger starts bawling pretty little Jessica Knable out but good. Then, all of a sudden, he reaches over, grabs her and gives her a big smack on the lips. I woke up. Disgusted. She'd never kiss Baylor. I have no idea why I dreamed this. It was bizarre because I've only met Jessica Knable one time and went to her husband one time to look at moles that I decided to leave alone. He's smart and he's certainly worthy of his wife. Baylor is not.

After I woke up, I got on here to try to get my mind off it and catch up on what's being said and I read this thing about spoog. Had to look it up.

Argggghhhh! Stop the world, I wanna get off!!!

Anonymous said...

I wanna get off too 7:42. I woke up several times all night. One time was when I was having a crazy dream too. I kept folding and refolding an afghan because I was trying to fit it into a gift box. None of the ways was right even though the clerk had told me it WOULD fit. Ha! Ha! That's the kind of dreams I have, I guess. Nothing as exciting as including Roger. We're getting ready for the parade. The float is 30-something. Have to get down there, find it, and make sure all the signs and people are on there. Bye.

hope you all were able to get off.

Floyd County Road Department under investigation

NEW ALBANY — Floyd County Commissioner Mark Seabrook confirmed Friday the Floyd County Road Department is being investigated.

“An investigation concerning the performance of the Floyd County Road Department is ongoing and it is being looked at by several agencies,” he said.

Seabrook said findings of an internal investigation have been turned over to outside authorities.

He said five accusations have been made within the department. Seabrook said commissioners are waiting for the first findings report which he said should be finished in the next week or two.

Seabrook said Floyd County Road Department Director Ron Quakenbush is on a personal leave from the department.

A message was left with Quakenbush seeking comment, but had not been returned as of press time.

1:56 old news. He will be charged with theft. Boy, you people are slow.

Anonymous said...

Nope, it's the Tribune as usual that is slow.

"The fans rallied on the steps of the 1117 East Spring Street Neighborhood Association. There was beer."

Roger's house is now the official Spring St. Neighborhood Assoc., Looks like New Albany's finest, biggest, and drunkest, were well represented at 1117 E. Spring st. LOL

Anonymous said...

Yeah. All 10 of them.

Heard the leader of the democrat mayoral race is going back to get his smoking ban! Oh boy let us that own establishments make our own decisions. Dictators need to go.
Good info going around the parade!!!

Ban the smoking. Hurry it up!

Dearest Lord Jesus, please give me an opportunity to minister to Roger A. Baylor, so that he, too, can know and understand your love for him which surpasses all understanding. I love Roger and wish this one thing for him, that he come to a relationship and faith in You, Lord. I pray this in Jesus name.
Amen

And, no, I'm not kidding. I mean this with my whole heart. I do not wish ill on Roger. I want him to come to know Jesus. I believe he can, and I believe his bragging about atheism opened the door for a heartfelt prayer.

Anonymous said...

Five, and I mean I counted only five patrons at the Swill house Saturday night. Just think only six month's and that should be long enough to put him out of business.

Anonymous said...

How come Mr. I hate campaign signs is not bitching about political signs in the right of way? Could it be his candidate is the one putting them in the right of way? At least Jeff Gahan has his in yards.
It's his way or the highway and god for bid his democrat, republican and now Independent candidate can do NO wrong.

'We Back Jack will go after the blacks!'

Anonymous said...

Interesting comments on here this past weekend. If the Swill house had only 5 patrons Saturday night, that's pretty bad. How does he stay open? 5:37, sounds like he needs all kinds of prayers. As for the campaign signs, I'm with you 6:11. Why no hue and cry against all the signage? More signs than usual in right-of-ways. And lots of them being removed, I've noticed.

Anonymous said...

5:37 if you want me to come to jesus, you first need to explain about 2000 years of church sponsored raping and pillaging.

Anonymous said...

That comment 9:01 describes the City of New Albany quite well. They have been raping the taxpayers for a long, long time.

Inquieing minds want to know said...

Talk about being a hypocrite: Indeed, (still) council member Coffey has seldom come down on the side as NAC. Currently, we find ourselves on the same side of a few issues; he asked NABC to do a beer vending at his event, and I agreed. Perhaps we both see the value of playing against type every now and then.

Question: what issues might they agree on?

Remember folks, they both had agendas the only thing Baylor wants is to sell his swill to whom ever and at any cost.

$4 a cup was charged and believe me it sucked.

Anonymous said...

Trust me another democrat paid for it, never in this lifetime would I ever buy his crappy beer.

Anonymous said...

Guess you guys showed Rog something to keep them quiet, lol. Everyone knows Rog is a hypocrite as well as a phony.

Anonymous said...

Only 5 people Saturday night and NONE...not a single one yesterday!
Poor Rog. NOT

Anonymous said...

Well, I don't much care for Rog's business. He's a beer snob. And his beer is nothing great. However, I don't wish him ill in his business. What benefits any one of us, helps New Albany. So I hope he succeeds.

Anonymous said...

I agree with 9:55 100%

Anonymous said...

Your way nicer than I. I want to see him ran out of town on a rail, right along with Doug, Randy, Jack, Carl and that dumbass Gibson. And while you are at it save room for 'fat ass' Garry too.

Anonymous said...

I agree with 9:55 too. He IS a beer snob. But I don't want him to go out of business. His success is our success. So, I agree. Now I've said that, I'd probably breath a sigh of relief if he was ran out of town on a rail.

Anonymous said...

Hi. I'm new to town. Someone said I could meet some real swell folks if I just got on here and fit in. So listen to this....

ROGER SUCKS!

There! Now can I be your friend?

Anonymous said...

That's funny. Bank Street was packed during the parade. I was there around 8, and there were a dozen people there. Looks like it all depends on when you drive past.

Anonymous said...

Secret FBI tapes and Bank Street's closure. They've both been right around the corner for years.

Anonymous said...

Aww, look at the little people, being hateful little creeps again. How cute you are! How much all of you deserve to live in a pa pthetic little area of town together! 'I hate Roger! I don't care if his demise means that my property value falls and my business fails...I'm so stupid that all I want is HIS failure, regardless of what consequences mean for me." Not so bright, folks, not so bright. Keep on in your ignorance.

Anonymous said...

Aww look at 4:53 being a hypocrite again by being hateful to the little people. Sounds like that creep is no different than the ones he complains about.

Anonymous said...

no roger you can't be my friend you have pissed too many people off with your tweets about people who were kind to you

Anonymous said...

Yes. Roger's pissed off too many people who now know he's just a disingenuous boob who's hellbent on proving his own importance and will step on anyone, even those who have given to him mightily, to do it. As for his viper of a sidekick, Gillenwater, he's even less important. More like a nasty cigarette butt stuck inside the tread of my sneakers. And I'll say that to his face. I don't care. He and Roger can both take a hike.

No fan of the Roger said...

Ooooohhh. Ouch! Well, 6:06, I agree 100%.

Anonymous said...

And I'll say that to his face.

Really? Why are you anonymous then?

Anonymous said...

Heard last night that Carl Malisz thinks Mrs. Clere is stupid to come in to the lions den and talk to Democrats and that our illustrious mayor calls her bitch. Nice, huh? Then i heard that the mayor and all the demos are so mad at Baylor they wish he'd go out of town. Most of the people don't like his swill. I think that's hilarious and true. I don't like his swill either. And they're all gloating that he doens't have any business. A bunch of crap from a bunch of knotheads.

Anonymous said...

@9:29 you really like starting false rumors, don't you.

yawn.

Anonymous said...

No. It's true. We don't like Roger's swill.

Anonymous said...

Fine. Don't drink it.

Next subject.

We don't like Fluffinstuff or his blog or his swill, you mean. And we do like good Republicans. We just don't like mean Democrats or mean Republicans. And we don't like the crooks either.

Anonymous said...

NO problem, Roger. I boycott your stupid growlers any time I have a chance.

Anonymous said...

Can we just rename this blog "Bitch about Roger at the Kitchen Table."

Truth in advertising.

Anonymous said...

We'll do that when you rename your blog, "Bitch about Ed Clere and all Republicans at the Swill House." I see you've got your old hard on back. Guess that Viagra is working?

Anonymous said...

Soon he'll be out in his biker short riding by Kojo's house to see if he can get a rise out of him.

Carl Malysz did not call Amy Clere stupid for coming to the "lions den". She seemed to have a good time and got along with everyone.

There was not one negative comment made to her or about her when she was there and after she left.

STOP THE BULLSHIT

I was there

Anonymous said...

Hmm. Counted 30 plus tonight at Bank Street. Who knew the little

Anonymous said...

...people couldn't count?

I heard Amy Clere left crying after the "loins den" comment.

I'd leave crying to. They probably made her feel pretty uncomftable. Hateful $%^&*!@#s.

@8:21 I was there too. You are lying.

photographedijonnaise said...

Sigh. Here are some facts, for the record.

On Tuesday, I attended Develop New Albany's monthly networking event. My husband, Ed, came later. I enjoyed meeting several friends and a couple of them invited me (and Ed) to Habana Blues afterward to continue the conversation. Ed and I decided that he would go home to the kids while I would go with our friends.

I sat there with friends and acquaintances without regard to party affiliation or any other arbitrary measure of segregation.

Everyone, as far as I could tell, had a good time. I had a great time!

Shock of shocks. That's ALL that happened. No one made me feel uncomfortable in any way, and I certainly did not leave crying.

I think it's important to consider the idea of Democrats and Republicans, Protestant and Catholic, gay and straight, black and white, male and female, New Albany people and "hill" people, Hoosiers and Kentuckians, etc., coming together instead of continuing to draw lines in the sand.

photographedijonnaise said...

I apologize for not identifying myself. I am Amy Clere. I had forgotten that it wouldn't put my name on here.

Amy Amy Amy you can't get on here and throw around big words like "facts" is this your first time on here?

Anonymous says anonymous is a liar. Ha ha ha.

FACT: There's an anonymous liar on here spreading garbage.

Doug was drunk enough to admit all he had done for Baylor. like bike lanes, patio and the wall City claims to have paid for. Seems like our brave mayor reads Baylor's twitter and he finds it very offensive. Now, he bad mouth's the mayor. I say welcome aboard he has been bad mouthing everyone for a very long time.

Anonymous said...

@12:21 Amy Clere gets on here and set the record straight.

So you just move on the the next person you want to lie about and hope they don't get on here and do the same.

Anonymous said...

does roger charge a toll on his bike lane?

Anonymous said...

i recall reading dozens of people on NA say they like the bike lane. i can only remember maybe three or four non-anonymous people saying they were against it.

Hey Tea Partiers. This is who you're really helping.

http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2011/10/art-pope-owns-north-carolina/246295/

Doug does not have to be drunk to admit what he did for Roger. Why do people think on hear think Roger is a god just look at him he is disgusting. Roger would not have what he has if it wasn't for someone helping him. I don't think I would be very proud of that.
And for Amy calm down to be in politics you need to get thicker skin. Some people like you and some don't that is what makes the world go round.

Anonymous said...

Denhardt called a meeting at the high rise oh boy!!!!
Look out Danny boy.
Vickie is sooooo tooth faced

Anonymous said...

How is Rep. Clere's legislative agenda "designed to push people apart"? Be specific.

Btw said...

For your information 5:16, Citizens For Accountability was invited, had a Meet & Greet for Candidate Gahan.

Candidate Gahan was over whelmed with such a large turn out. (why don't you non believers ask him yourselve) Several CFA members helped register voters and absentee ballots.

There was standing room only and the tenants applauded Mrs. Denhart for fighting for each of them and FOR her community service.

FYI, the previous night 10 democrats came in and only 10 residents showed up, that speaks volumes for Mrs. Denhart and who people listen too.

So much for "you morons" stating she's the only member.

ROFLMAO

BTW, even Matt Dennison made the comment that Vicki was well RESPECTED by both political parties in New Albany.

Sorry Danny Boy, you shouldn't have sat in your van, you missed a damn good event!

LOL!!!!!!!

To 517 W. Main Street: It's Harvest Homecoming and what you did last night was down right shameful. If you phony bitches and bastards and whiners on Main Street think you are so friggin important 1. pay your correct property taxes 2. catch up all your back property taxes 3. stop think you all are something your not. Cause a 'new' day is coming to New Albany and you just better watch out. Grant has way more money than you, so get ready to be sued for down right harrassment before long.
Gee Louise, get a life or move.

Anonymous said...

I'm with you on that one 11:38. People wonder why we are broke as a city.

Anonymous said...

11:38, what 517 did was certainly underhanded. Mean and underhanded.

Anonymous said...

It's harvest homecoming and this town is a disgrace! You would think the city would want to make a good impression to those coming into town and clean the place up. Spring St. looks awful. abandoned houses with overgrown lawns, liter, just fithly. This city reminds me of a fat slop that hasnt bathed in weeks. Disgusting!
Shameful that our leaders continue to allow this town to go to pits. Why arent the business's complaining? Why would anyone want to drive to this town to eat at one of our restaurants or have an overpriced drink at the swill house? When will they learn. If they want people to come here then make it a nice place to come to. Until then good luck.
