  3. the fuss is the city is broke and the police and fire always want more and more and they control too many politicians so they get whatever they want. leave sanitation as is, a lot better than it was when it was in house. ambulance, privatize it and let the hospital foot the cost of it.

  4. A special thank you goes out to our former Councilman, current County Commissioner (future Mayor?) Mark Seabrook, for stepping in and having the County assist the City in the clean up after this week’s devastating storm. He demonstrated what great leadership and cooperation is all about.

    Thanks Mr. Seabrook

    Happy Easter to all.

  5. Why would Seabrook help out New Albany? Because it is in FLOYD COUNTY, morons.

  6. Timberlake in the 1st
    Caesar in the 2nd
    Phipps in the 3rd
    Smith in the 5th
    Baylor At Large
    Gonder At Large
    ???? At Large
    ???? Clerk
    Gahan for Mayor

The Faternal Order of Police Lodge No. 99 and the IAFF Local 410 New Albany Professional Fighter Fighters announced Thursday they have both endorsed the following candidates:

    District 1, Theresa Timberlake
    District 3, Greg Phipps
    District 5, Randy Smith
    Mayor, Irv Stumler

Well, they got 1 right (Gahan) and the rest are nothing but a bunch of ass kissers. They'd say and do anything to get elected.

Remember the above names (excluding Gahan)taxpayers.

Cause if you think it's bad now both unions get 85% of our General Fund, each of these candidates plan to put the police and fire above and ahead of all of your needs.

“Why would Seabrook help out New Albany? Because it is in FLOYD COUNTY, morons”

Obviously 9:18 is the moron since the county is not responsible for the streets in New Albany. They are responsible for county roads not city roads. They were under no obligation to assist or to take on any financial responsibility of cleaning up the streets of the city. They saw the city needed help and stepped in to assist. We appreciate the assistance!

It is a shame we have some moron in this city that is so unappreciative and too ignorant to understand the responsibilities of each of these two separate governments.

  8. Yes. But when the state or federal government step in, you assume it is their obligation to help. I never hear anyone say thank you to Indianapolis or Washington. JMHO

  9. Happy Easter to you too. Don't eat too much chocolate! LOL

  10. 7:40, you just spend too much time around thankless people that is why you dont hear people saying thank you. Try broading your social circle and you will find there are plenty of people who are appreciative and offer thanks to those who assist and help in time of need.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Wow. That was a pretty snarky thing to say to 7:40.

And I agree with them. People don't thank them, just ask them to send more money.

    Buncha greedies.

  14. Appears Randy Smith is in desperation mode. He and his cohort Roger Baylor are now on the attack of Diane Benedetti. A clear indication that he and Baylor feel Smith’s only chance of winning is by using childish tactics of bad mouthing his opponent. When you have no character yourself to begin with, I guess you’re left with having to try and discredit someone else’s character.

  16. Why not discuss it at the source?

Wait, that's right: The New Albany Syndrome, rearing its dysfunctional head. I come here and try in vain to reason with you. You won't return the favor. I'm soooo hurt.

Anyone for a lovely dinner at Vietnam Kitchen this Easter? Yummers.

  17. well baylor has his proven track record. who ever he supports loses in the election and the person who he criticizes wins. people know and understand that baylor and smith are in it for themselves and their business. We need real leaders that are looking out for the best interest of all the citizens.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Yes. Baylor's loud criticism has made people so disgusted that we've got a bet at our office as to how much he's going to lose by.

    ReplyDelete
  19. What's the over/under on that, trognonymous?

    ReplyDelete
  20. I think you'll get fewer than a thousand votes.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I'll say less than 500 votes.

    ReplyDelete
  22. It's possible that the count will be between 250 and 500. That's my vote.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Aww...look how cute the 'little people of New Albany' are!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Your the one running not I, Rog. You're about to know what the 'little people' think of you. Not only are we going to keep you from getting on the council, we will do everything possible to put you out of business. But, I must say; your doing such a great job on your own just running your mouth.

Ever heard of not burning bridges? Didn't think so!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Have you progressives ever considered moving to California? They say it's the land of fruits and nuts. If your not one then your the other.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Awww, the little people are actually just big bullies. Isn't that cute.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Yo, tearbender: I'll have a Progressive Pint to chase that trognonymous threat. Umm, hoppy, bitter goodness.

    ReplyDelete
  28. You're on a roll, Fluffinstuff. Go ahead, go on a bender and celebrate. It ain't no skin off my teeth.

    ReplyDelete
  29. It must be challenging for the likely two people who recycle putrid spiel while speaking for the alleged rank and file; it is really rather sad. I won't pause to consider what motivates such boorish behavior.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Hey Jon, bite me! Your a moron too.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Jon, are you one of those progressive queers too?

    ReplyDelete
  32. The word 'queer' is used here is not meant to antagonize, but to take a stand right from the beginning about the homosexual lifestyle. Our city is being infested with queerism and it is destroying our moral foundation.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Rogers a bully. Ignore him.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Are these the two Greg and Greg who ripped off the little old lady for her antiques and her house?

  35. Bin Laden would give you a job, Roger, if this deal falls through on the council election.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Well, I'm not going to become embroiled in "queer" talk. It's rude and not very friendly.

However, I will agree that Roger is a problem. This is not something he's not aware of--in fact, he embraces his status as troublemaker. Seems to relish it.

Roger, your accusations against Anna Schmidt are completely false and inflammatory. Actually, it's libelous. I've heard from several people, whose sources point back to you, that you've also been going around SAYING it. This is called S-L-A-N-D-E-R. You'd best consider how you might retract such statements you make regarding this upstanding citizen.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Keep those comments classy, cowards. Let me know when you're ready to stand tall alongside your names.

Not that I'm holding my breath. Once the Klan, always the Dixiecrat.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Awww, the little people will be all sad when Roger wins.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity. that isn't me, its froma Guy Richie film, but what are the chances of two "citizens" loggin on and comment within two minutes. Sure makes queer biting rather ironic, no?

    ReplyDelete
  40. Don't worry, Rog, you'll hear from me, name and all, all in good time.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Oh, we had such a blessed Easter! Jesus Christ is risen! Alleluia! Alleluia!

Freedom of Speech, thank you for your Easter message. It was a wonderful day! I wish you all many blessings and may you shine with the light of Christ all the days of your lives and in all you do!

    ReplyDelete
  42. Amen, 7:34.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Nicely said, 7:34. May the peace that passes all understanding be yours now and always too!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Well, something very nice on here. I like the original post and agree with 7:34 too.

It is now Easter season in the church. It would do us well to keep that in mind, even as we discuss politics. I often fail to remember it, unfortunately, but will try to do better. Hopefully, I'll make it every week inside the doors of St. Mary's during this Easter season.

  45. There Nash goes again. Slamming all the peoople that support Steve Price.

    Phipps must write his stuff.

    ReplyDelete
  46. No fair, Matt. I thought I wrote your stuff?

    ReplyDelete
  47. Great letter to the Editor. Good to see others who defend and believe in Price. Unlike Phipps who wants to give tax abatements to people who move downtown.

    DUMB, DUMB, DUMB...

A vote for Phipps is a vote for England.

    ReplyDelete
  48. The amazing thing Rog (if I may call you Rog) is that these people who both claim that we are obsessed, posted a response to a blog post within a half an hour of me releasing it.

    Again Thanks for reading!

    ReplyDelete
  49. Matt, sorry to hear your father lost his job. But like so many of us told him. It was because of you people have turned on him. His reply, I can't control Matt. So thanks, with a son like you it has to be all down here from now on.

  50. I'm supporting Mrs.Rebecca Gardenour in June when she announces she's running for Mayor of the City of New Albany.

    ReplyDelete
  51. I like Becky but I will still support Gahan!

    ReplyDelete
  52. I'm a democrat and would vote for Gardenour.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I VOTED for Gardenour! For School Board. Wish she'd run for mayor. She'd be great at it.

  54. Maury Goldberg trying to start crap. No race cards Maury! Go Glotzbach.

  55. Baylor's stuffing fluff again.

    What a moron.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Well, what I heard about the polling they did makes me relax completely about the election....

    Ahhhh......

    Enjoy the next several days.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I am posting on here to make sure that no one posts using my name again. Although I have had my Google account for years, I don't blog, so I never use it. Today, I experimented and wrote two quick, goofy comments, one on this post, and the other on the Easter post.

Now that I know exactly how to log on and do this, if a post does not have my Google account on here, it is not me.
